Charlie Cox Denies Appearance In Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer

Charlie Cox addressed the topic of whether or not it is his arm in the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer. The forthcoming sequel film will be the third solo Spider-Man feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A scene in the trailer for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” shows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) reading through a file at a police station. We know that J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons) revealed Peter’s identity in the last film “Far From Home,” and that at least some people believe Peter used Stark Tech drones to murder Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Peter Parker, it’s reasonable to suppose, will want expert advice in order to deal with these allegations. And we glimpse the arms of a man in a dress shirt for a brief moment in the aforementioned police station scene – two arms that some believe belong to Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock.

Cox, though, is putting a stop to that hypothesis. The actor reacted to the issue of whether he can be seen in the No Way Home trailer while speaking with ComicBook.com about his upcoming AMC+ series Kin. “I can promise you those are not my forearms,” Cox stated emphatically. He didn’t say anything further about his possible involvement with the film, after claiming he wasn’t in it last year.

“I hadn’t heard those rumors, but it’s certainly not with my Daredevil. I’m not involved in it,” Cox told us last spring. “If that’s true, it’s not with me. It’s with another actor.”

“As a fan of the Marvel movies, I’ve loved the little stuff where they pop up here and there but because we were on Netflix, we weren’t able to do as much for legal reasons, I don’t know why,” he added. “But I love the idea of Jessica and Matt showing up in the background or Matt as a lawyer advising Peter Parker. That’d be really, really cool.”

The major question now is whether or not supporters can believe Cox’s claim. On the one hand, the trailer’s arms are hairy, and Charlie Cox has hairy arms as well. The outfit style is very similar to Murdock’s. Many people across the world, on the other hand, have hairy arms or wear similar dress shirts. That said, just because the arm isn’t his (or so he claims), doesn’t mean he isn’t in “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” There will almost certainly be a lot of arms in this film, and any of them might be Daredevil’s (or not).

The trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home was just released, and it quickly became the most-watched film teaser of all time. The video pulled out all the stops, suggesting a number of potential plot lines, using nostalgia, and even showing off fan favorite Doc Ock, who will be portrayed by Alfred Molina once more. There have been several reports that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man characters may reprise their roles in this next picture. As a bomb is thrown onto the bridge, fans can hear Green Goblin’s evil chuckle.

Kin premieres on AMC+ on September 9th, followed by Spider-Man: No Way Home on December 17th.

The common theory is that Matt will sign on as Peter’s lawyer.  Peter’s identity was revealed to the world at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, and he was accused of murdering Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). The trailer for December’s film revealed that he’ll face legal consequences as a result of the allegations, which may open the door for Daredevil to make an appearance. Fans will have to wait for more definite confirmation of Cox’s involvement with Spider-Man: No Way Home for the time being.
