Hanks explained that Eastwood instructs everyone around him in a quiet, soft voice, saying “All right, go ahead,” instead of shouting “Cut!” at the end of a scene.

While this may seem like a good thing, Hanks found it to be “intimidating as hell.”

Despite his reservations about Eastwood’s working style, Hanks delivered a standout performance in Sully.

The film tells the true story of the 2009 plane crash on the Hudson River, which saw Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger save all 155 passengers and crew members aboard the aircraft.

Hanks played Sullenberger in the movie, and he revealed during his Graham Norton Show appearance that the real-life Sully was heavily involved in the film’s production.

According to Hanks, Sullenberger was very particular about how the events were portrayed in the movie.

He even brought a dog-eared, stapled, and notated script to the set, which he had read through carefully and commented on extensively.

With his wife’s help, Sullenberger had left post-it notes and stapled index cards all over the script, with comments about every page and every beat.

Despite the extensive revisions and attention to detail, the movie was a commercial and critical success, grossing over $241 million worldwide.

The film’s success was due in part to the efforts of Hanks and Eastwood, who worked together to bring Sullenberger’s story to life on the big screen.

Hanks and Eastwood are both incredibly talented and respected in their respective fields.

However, it seems that their working styles may be quite different.
