Actor Orlando Bloom declined a cameo offer in the 2013 film “The Bling Ring,” which was inspired by a real-life Hollywood crime spree, because he found it “too close to home.

” The film, directed by Sofia Coppola, followed a group of teenagers who robbed the homes of several celebrities, including Bloom’s.

While some of the other victims of the burglary agreed to make a cameo in the film, Bloom refused.

Coppola had hoped to feature Bloom, along with other victims of the burglaries, in the film. Bloom, however, was not interested in being involved in the project.

In a 2013 interview with Elle magazine, Bloom explained, “Sofia Coppola is wonderful and I’ve always wanted to work with her, but this was not the project for me.

Obviously, it’s a difficult and sensitive subject matter, and I don’t think that it’s necessarily the best thing for me to be involved with.”

Bloom not only refused the cameo, but he also objected to the film’s depiction of the real-life events.

He had lost some of his most valuable possessions in the burglary and took matters into his own hands to get them back.

In an interview on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” Bloom revealed that he had managed to retrieve some of his stolen watches.

The actor shared that his collection of watches included some very expensive ones that were stolen during the burglary.

However, after receiving information that someone was selling some of the watches from his collection, he took action.

He eventually tracked down a pawn shop owner who had five of the ten watches that were stolen.

Bloom was thrilled to have some of his possessions returned to him.

“I was on the verge of tears,” he said. “I mean, it was pretty emotional.”

Bloom even joked that a movie about him tracking down his stolen watches would have been more interesting than “The Bling Ring.”

The film featured several celebrities who had been victims of the burglaries, including Paris Hilton and Kirsten Dunst.

The film is available to stream on Disney+.

While some of the victims of the real-life burglaries were willing to participate in the film, Bloom’s refusal to be involved highlights the personal nature of the crime.

Bloom’s rejection of the cameo offer and his comments about the film’s message suggest that he did not agree with its portrayal of the events.
