Actor Jack Nicholson’s friends are reportedly worried that he may die alone due to his reclusive lifestyle.

The three-time Academy Award winner has not been seen in public for over a year, and his friends claim he is “living like a recluse.” Sources have revealed that the 85-year-old actor “doesn’t leave his house anymore,” and his “mind is gone,” leading to concerns of possible dementia.

The father-of-five was last seen in public in October 2021, at the Staples Center for a Los Angeles Lakers game with his son Ray.

According to reports, Nicholson spends most – if not all – of his time in his plush Beverly Mansion, which boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a pool.

He purchased the property from his friend, the late Marlon Brando, for $5 million in 2005.

Despite being in touch with certain relatives, especially his 30-year-old son Ray, Nicholson’s socializing days are long gone, according to insiders.

Sources close to the “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” actor are worried that his reclusive nature is becoming more and more like that of Brando, who spent his final years alone before his death in 2004.

“It’s like he doesn’t want to face reality anymore, and that’s just sad,” an insider said.

“His kids will visit, but they’re his only connection to the world.” Nicholson’s friends are drawing comparisons to Brando and are concerned that the actor’s solitary lifestyle may lead to him dying alone, just like his friend.

Jack Nicholson’s last project was the 2011 rom-com “How Do You Know,” in which he starred alongside Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, and Owen Wilson.

As far as his personal life goes, the actor was married to Sandra Knight for six years, tying the knot in 1962.

His longest relationship was with actress Anjelica Huston, which lasted from 1973 until their romance crumbled in 1990.

Back in 2021, insiders revealed that Nicholson’s son Ray and sister Lorraine have been “looking after him.” The Mulholland Drive community is reportedly close-knit, and they are all worried about him, according to the sources.

“Physically he is fine, but his mind is gone,” the insider added.

“It’s really sad to see such a super-talented actor, like Jack, go out this way.”

Nicholson’s friends are concerned that his reclusive nature may lead to him dying alone, just like Brando.

According to a source, “He’s made it clear his home is his castle.

But people just wish he’d come out of the house and pop up to tell them how – or at least reassure folks he’s OK.”

Despite being one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, Nicholson has retreated from the public eye in recent years.

His friends are worried about the end game and fear that he may be lonely and isolated.

“Jack’s in touch with certain relatives – especially Ray, his protégé, who he’s so proud of – but his socializing days are long gone,” the insider added.

Nicholson’s friends are concerned that he may be living with dementia, which is a progressive brain disorder that can lead to memory loss, confusion, and other cognitive impairments.
