During a conversation with Nova radio’s Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small on Smallzy’s Celebrity Small Talk, Angelina Jolie confessed that she seldom watches her own films.

The actress acknowledged that she had missed viewing several of her own films while promoting her current feature The Eternals. “No, there’s quite a few films of mine I’ve actually never seen, ’cause I like the process,” she admitted in her candid interview. “I usually see it and I get frustrated cause I thought it was going to be something else. So I’m a terrible critic.”.”

The recently released Marvel film “Eternals” was one of the films she did see.

“I really just like the making of. But I enjoyed watching this one, I’ve seen it.”

Eternals was directed by the Academy Award-winning Chloé Zhao. Jolie, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, and others are among the cast members. Despite some negative reviews, the film performed well at the international box office.

It is Marvel’s 28th film, and it is based on the same-named mythical species of humanoid aliens that initially appeared in an American comic book series.

Last week, the actress discussed how she came to play Thena (her Eternals character). Angie explained why she chose to work in the film at the global press conference.

“When they first talked to me about the story, really, it was the cast. It was the idea of what this family would be. And I just wanted to be a part of this family before I even knew very much about who I was gonna play. But as I learned about Thena, and that’s one of the special things that Chloe brings to this, is she’s known for bringing reality to a film, to somebody’s true self. So, a lot of us were cast to bring out something from our own lives, something within ourselves, that maybe we weren’t even aware of. And then, let it live and let it grow within the film,” Angie recounted.

Along with providing a fresh viewpoint on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the film also debuts Harry Styles as Eros, Thanos’s younger brother. Fans are thrilled not just to see Styles enter the MCU, but also to discover whether there is a link between Eros and the mega-villain.

Angelina Jolie had expressed interest in joining Bollywood in an interview with Hindustan Times. She said, “I don’t know how good I would be at it. But we all loved that angle (in Eternals). We were so excited when he (Kumail Nanjiani) was doing (his scenes). It was this exciting part of the film, and we thought it was so cool. We used to love when he used to practise. It is a great and exciting addition to the film.”
