The visit to New York City by Angelina Jolie and her family is a gift that keeps on giving. Last week, the Tourist actress, who just turned 46, was pictured flaunting three new tattoos on her forearm, one of which has a special meaning for her.

The design reads “Eppur si muove,” which translates to “And yet it moves” in Italian. The quote dates back to 1633, when Galileo was forced to recant his (true) statement that the Earth moves around the sun.

While it’s debatable if Galileo actually spoke such words, the statement is frequently interpreted as his bold insistence that the truth will eventually triumph.

Jolie, whose children joined her to New York, flaunted her new tattoo in a white T-shirt, gray midi skirt. It appears to be the same clothing she wore when she and her boys Pax and Knox went out for a hot dog.

Other tattoos inspired by the star’s travels, charitable activities, children, and abrasive demeanor could be seen on her body.

Jolie celebrated her 46th birthday in Los Angeles earlier this month with her children at a dinner. According to ET, Jolie and her children celebrated at home for a “really special day” before her children prepared and surprised her with an evening out.

It comes after Jolie was photographed twice in Brooklyn, each time with a different son, at her ex-husband Johnny Lee Miller’s apartment.

They met on the set of Hackers in 1995 and married six months later. They divorced in 1999, but they have remained friends since then. It’s unclear whether their new meeting is merely a pleasant catch-up or a Bennifer 2.0 scenario. It’s worth noting that Jolie’s son Knox is friends with Miller’s son, and she also brought a bottle of Peter Michael Wine with her on the Friday visit.
