Megan Fox recently revealed that she and her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, have drunk each other’s blood for “ritual purposes.”
The couple made headlines last November when Fox announced their engagement on Instagram, along with the revelation that they have drunk each other’s blood.
During a recent interview with Glamour UK, Fox clarified that they do not drink a lot of blood, and that it is only done for “ritual purposes.”
Fox stated that the blood-drinking is not done for fun and games but is part of a larger ritualistic practice.
She shared that when she drinks Kelly’s blood, it is a “passage or it is used for a reason,” as she is someone who prefers reading “tarot cards” and “astrology.”
She added that the ritual is “controlled” and that they “shed a few drops of blood and each drink it.”
However, Fox did note that Kelly is much more “hectic” when it comes to blood and appears to be willing to drink more than just a few drops.
She said that he is “willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, ‘Take my soul.'”
When asked if Kelly would actually slash his chest to offer Fox more blood, she responded:
“It doesn’t not happen. Let me tell you. Maybe not exactly like that, but a version of that has happened many times.”
In February 2021, Kelly revealed on Instagram that he had a necklace with a drop of Fox’s blood in it.
While appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show a few months later, DeGeneres asked him about the necklace.
He explained that Fox gave it to him as a gift before leaving town to film a movie.
Fox and Kelly have been together since last year, and their relationship has been the subject of much media attention.
Fox was previously married to actor Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three children.
Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, has also been in high-profile relationships in the past, including with actor Amber Rose.
Despite their unconventional practices, Fox and Kelly seem to be happy together.
In an interview with Nylon last year, Kelly said that he and Fox have a “once in a lifetime thing going on.”
Fox echoed his sentiments in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying that they have a “soulmate connection.”
Fox and Kelly have not disclosed any further details about their blood-drinking rituals, but it is clear that it is an important part of their relationship.
Whether or not it is something that is widely accepted or understood by the public, it is a personal choice that they have made.
