During an interview with Access, Angelina Jolie, the actress and director, shared that she used to have a crush on her co-star in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Michelle Pfeiffer.

When asked about their teenage crushes, Pfeiffer selected Bobby Sherman, Jolie chose “Brando in Streetcar,” and Elle Fanning picked John Travolta’s Danny Zucko from Grease.

As Pfeiffer starred in Grease 2, Jolie leaned over to tell her that she loved her in the movie. Pfeiffer asked, “Was I your teen crush?” to which Jolie replied, “I definitely was into you when you sang ‘Cool Rider.’ You were very hot.”

Jolie then admitted, “Scarface. I also had a big crush on you then.”

While Jolie’s relationships with men tend to draw more attention, Out notes that the actress is a “bi icon.”

In the 1990s, Jolie dated Calvin Klein model Jenny Shimizu, who also had relationships with Madonna and Ione Skye.

In an interview with Girlfriends magazine in 1997, Jolie stated, “I probably would have married Jenny Shimizu if I hadn’t married my husband.

I fell in love with her the first second I saw her.”

Jolie further added that she is pleased to be considered a sex symbol for both men and women.

“I love men and women,” she stated. In a 2003 interview with Barbara Walters, Jolie discussed her bisexuality.

“I consider myself a very sexual person who loves who she loves, whatever sex they may be. I wasn’t looking to have a relationship with a woman. I was surprised when I suddenly found myself having these feelings I always had for men, but for a woman, and wanting to kiss her and wanting to touch her,” she shared.

Jolie added, “I feel if I fell in love with a woman tomorrow, would I … it’s OK and it’s right to want to kiss her and touch her if I fell in love with her in that way? Yeah.”

Jolie has not been in a public relationship since her divorce from Brad Pitt.

As for Pfeiffer, she has been married to Ally McBeal and Big Little Lies showrunner David E. Kelley for 25 years.

It is worth noting that Jolie’s candid remarks on her crush on Pfeiffer led fans to speculate about whether there was a romantic connection between the two actresses.

However, Jolie’s remarks merely reflect her appreciation for Pfeiffer’s talent and beauty.

Jolie is known for her extensive work in the film industry.

She has starred in various movies such as Girl, Interrupted, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and has directed several films, including In the Land of Blood and Honey and Unbroken.

Additionally, she is known for her humanitarian work, as she is a Special Envoy to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and has worked to raise awareness of and provide assistance to refugees around the world.

In 2019, Jolie was appointed a visiting professor at the London School of Economics, where she teaches a course on women, peace, and security.

She has also been a strong advocate for gender equality and women’s rights.

Pfeiffer, on the other hand, has had a successful acting career, appearing in films such as Scarface, Batman Returns, and Dangerous Minds.

She has received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award for her performance in The Fabulous Baker Boys.

Despite Jolie’s crush on her, Pfeiffer has remained dedicated to her marriage with Kelley, and the couple has two children together.

In a 2020 interview with People, Pfeiffer shared that her secret to a happy marriage is to “keep the fights clean and the sex dirty.”

Jolie, on the other hand, has been open about her struggles with mental health.

In a 2019 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, a condition that causes temporary facial paralysis, and that she had also suffered from depression.

Jolie has been an advocate for mental health awareness and has spoken out about the importance of seeking help and support.

In addition to her work as an actress and director, Jolie is also known for her style and fashion sense.

She has been named one of the world’s most beautiful women by various publications and has been known to rock bold and edgy looks on the red carpet.

In 2019, she collaborated with luxury brand Guerlain to create a fragrance called Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense.

Pfeiffer, too, has been recognized for her fashion sense, with many of her iconic red carpet looks becoming timeless classics.

In a 2020 interview with InStyle, she shared that she prefers to keep her fashion choices simple and elegant, opting for classic pieces that she can wear over and over again.

As for their recent project together, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was released in 2019 to mixed reviews.

The film, which also starred Elle Fanning, was a sequel to the 2014 film Maleficent and explored the complex relationship between Maleficent and Princess Aurora.

Despite the film’s mixed reception, Jolie and Pfeiffer both received praise for their performances.

In a review for Rolling Stone, Peter Travers wrote, “Jolie and Pfeiffer are grand fun to watch as they vie for power and affection.”

Overall, Jolie’s candid remarks about her crush on Pfeiffer serve as a reminder that it is okay to appreciate and admire people of any gender.

As she stated in her interview with Barbara Walters, “I love who I love, whatever sex they may be.”

Jolie’s openness about her sexuality and relationships has also helped to raise awareness and promote acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community.

Pfeiffer, for her part, has remained gracious and professional in response to Jolie’s comments, further proving that women can support and uplift each other in the industry.

As for their fans, they will no doubt continue to ship this “gorgeous couple” and admire the talent and beauty of both actresses.
