While Twilight fans will cheer when Bella finally kisses her werewolf companion Jacob in Eclipse, actress Kristen Stewart says that those sequences were “hard” to film.

Kissing Lautner’s character Jacob, according to the actress, “was so against everything that Bella’s always been.”

Despite the fact that having intimate moments with Lautner was difficult, Stewart revealed that the two had “fun” while filming the romantic scene.

‘Taylor [and I] have so much fun with this stuff because our intimate moments are so few and far between – and weird,’ she said during a press briefing for the film.

‘Me and Rob [Pattinson] are always so serious because we have [a lot of] those scenes.’

Despite this, the actress, 20, says filming the much-anticipated “tent scene” — in which a chilly Bella snuggles up to Jacob to stay warm as her lover Edward (Robert Pattinson) writhes in jealously — was fulfilling.

According to Us Weekly, the 20-year-old said: “Bella always wanted Jacob and Edward to level with each other finally, and it’s funny that it takes place while she’s sleeping between them. It was fun to shoot, but I wish it wasn’t as hot. I was literally in a beanie and I was just sweating.”

Later in the interview, Stewart couldn’t decide who was the better kisser.

“Dakota [Fanning],” she replied, alluding to her co-star in The Runaways, a 2009 biopic. “I’m just going to have to say that because it’s easier.”

Eclipse will be released on June 30 in the United States and July 9 in the United Kingdom.
