Reports have emerged that Eddie Murphy, the American actor, has refused to meet his daughter with British pop star Melanie Brown.

This follows Murphy’s previous denial of paternity of Angel Iris until DNA test results proved otherwise in June.

Brown’s legal team has been seeking maintenance and visitation rights for the child at a Los Angeles court. However, the case has been postponed for three months due to Murphy’s refusal to submit an offer.

The Sun has reported that Murphy has told his legal team he has no interest in ever meeting his daughter.

The source told The Sun: “Mel was furious. She had been planning to take Angel to the courthouse to meet her dad for the first time.”

The relationship between Murphy and Brown has been tumultuous, and the couple’s split in 2006 was not amicable. Brown gave birth to Angel in April 2007, and there were doubts over the paternity of the child.

However, DNA testing eventually proved that Murphy was Angel’s father.

According to reports, Brown is seeking $11,500 per month in child support from Murphy, but he has refused to pay such a large amount.

Murphy is already paying child support for his other children from previous relationships, and it is not clear why he is reluctant to pay for Angel.

Brown’s lawyer, Gloria Allred, has said that her client is “disappointed” that the case has been postponed.

Allred added that Brown “just wants Mr. Murphy to do the right thing.”

Allred has also said that Brown is “a single mother who is trying to provide for her daughter.”

She added that “she is entitled to know that her daughter will be taken care of financially by her father.”

Murphy’s refusal to meet his daughter has been met with criticism, with many people questioning his commitment to fatherhood.

Some have argued that he has a moral obligation to support his daughter, regardless of his personal feelings towards Brown.

Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B, has been open about her struggles as a single mother.

In her 2018 autobiography, “Brutally Honest,” she wrote about her battles with depression and anxiety, as well as her financial struggles.

She also wrote about her relationship with Murphy, describing it as “passionate but volatile.”

Brown has previously spoken about the importance of having a relationship with both parents, saying that “children need their fathers.

” In an interview with The Guardian in 2019, she said: “I think it’s really important for children to have both parents in their life, if they can.”

The issue of child support has been a contentious one in the United States, with some arguing that the current system is unfair to fathers. However, others argue that child support is a necessary tool to ensure that children are provided for financially.

In California, where the case is being heard, child support is calculated based on a number of factors, including the income of both parents and the amount of time each parent spends with the child.

If Murphy is found to be Angel’s father, he will be legally required to pay child support.

The case has been postponed until a later date, leaving Brown and her legal team to continue their fight for maintenance and visitation rights.

Allred has said that Brown is determined to do whatever it takes to provide for her daughter, stating that “Angel is her top priority.”
