Both Jason Momoa and Henry Cavill play superheroes in the upcoming DC Comics film Justice League, and it’s evident that their time on set has aided in the development of one epic bromance. The actors came out in force for the London premiere of Suicide Squad on Wednesday night, and Momoa was overjoyed to see his pal on the pink carpet.

Momoa, who will play Aquaman in the next film, crept up behind Cavill (aka Superman) as he posed for pictures and approached him like a creature stalking its prey.

Despite the gigantic hands encircling him, Cavill remained unfazed, ensuring that the photographers captured an outstanding shot.

Finally, Clark Kent whirled back to face his assailant, who appeared to be overjoyed to see him.

Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa, is gradually evolving into an elder of Atlantis.

Jason Momoa revealed some harrowing behind-the-scenes revelations regarding his injuries while filming Aquaman 2 on Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

When asked by DeGeneres about the long-running allegations that he’d injured himself on the set of the picture, Momoa just quipped, “I’m getting old is what’s happening,” before going on to explain that he had had several injuries during production. Momoa claims he “messed up my eyes. I just got something in it that kinda cut it up, and then I’ve gotta get surgery.” He also revealed, “I have a hernia, I’ve got ribs out.” While the actor said he is “just getting beat up,” he teased that the film is “gonna be a great movie, you’re gonna love it.”

Jason has a history of getting himself hurt. He previously admitted to breaking his femur and injuring his face, which left a scar.

Momoa recently disclosed that he got his distinctive eyebrow scar a decade ago after being smacked in the eye with a pint glass, resulting in a 140-stitch injury. Momoa was hit by a stuntman while filming Braven in 2018, and he said at the time, “I got knocked out. A stunt guy hit me. He blindsided me. We didn’t make eye contact, and he hit me before I could grab for him, and everything went black.”

When Momoa came on Ellen DeGeneres’ show, she couldn’t help but bring up the numerous injuries. “That’s a rough job you got there,” she said to the actor. “Every movie you’re on, you’re hurting yourself.”

Momoa added: “I just kind of give it, yeah. I love my job and I get a little too excited and then you know, the age thing … I’m an aging superhero.”

Momoa, who appeared remotely from London, also spoke about his children meeting Billie Eilish at the premiere of No Time to Die last month. His daughters “shared her music with me first,” he stated, adding that the artist is a major thing in his family. “When we saw her, we just lost it. I lost it. We all geeked out,” Momoa stated while a photo of him and his daughters smiling with Eilish on the red carpet was shown.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be released in theaters on December 16, 2022, and will feature Momoa with Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Temuera Morrison. Director James Wan previously indicated to Total Film that the classic is greatly influenced by the 1965 campy Italian sci-fi/horror film Planet of the Vampires. The film will be the most recent addition to the DC Cinematic Universe.
