Over the course of his three decades of fame, Keanu Reeves has built a one-of-a-kind personality. The “John Wick” star prefers to keep to himself, even spending his birthday alone on occasion.

Keanu Reeves is one of Hollywood’s most appealing performers, whether he’s known as Ted Logan, Neo, or John Wick.

Reeves appears to be a down-to-earth Hollywood movie star, which is unusual in today’s world. One of the primary reasons that people like Keanu Reeves is his unpretentiousness. In a new interview, Keanu addressed some fascinating questions while playing with some cute puppies, demonstrating even greater likeability. Thankfully, no puppies were hurt in the making of this film, and John Wick did not snap and go on a murderous rampage.

Reeves’ career has been keeping him quite busy recently. Reeves will feature in Toy Story 4 later this summer, in addition to the release of the third John Wick picture, which proved box office predictions true when it became the film that ultimately knocked Avengers: Endgame off the top place. And, much to the joy of Bill and Ted fans worldwide, Reeves will return with Alex Winter to reprise their roles as Ted ‘Theodore’ Logan and Bill S. Preston Esquire in Bill & Ted Face the Music next year.

Reeves has earned a reputation for leading as regular a life as possible throughout the years. Reeves has a history of helping fans, such as when he helped organize a shuttle van for strangers stuck at a California airport.

When asked what the most insane stunt in the John Wick trilogy was, he said a firefight on horseback through the streets of Brooklyn.

Keanu happily interjected random exclamations of “Puppies!” into his replies while the said puppies fought each other, peed on the floor, and chewed on his shoelaces as he answered some fan-submitted questions.

Keanu was asked what his “secret for always staying down to earth” was and he replied with, “Well, I mean, gravity.” Dad Joke Level: 5,000.

“What was the craziest experience you had while filming John Wick?” To which the action movie star replied, “Doing a gunfight on a horse on the streets of Brooklyn. That was pretty crazy.”

“I did a lot of training and it was really fun,” said of preparing for his assassin role in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. “The Matrix, the first time, was learning Wire and Kung Fu. John Wick was Judo and Jiu Jistu, and a lot more gun manipulation, and that was lots and lots and lots [of fun]. I love doing action films, I love the training, I love being there as much as I can to create that relationship between the character and the audience.”

The actor has engaged in a number of fan exchanges, many of which have showcased his character. Reeves was once surprised while preparing for “John Wick” when a little fan leapt on him. Patrick Murphy, Reeves’ trainer, told Esquire that instead of becoming furious, Reeves soothed the child and engaged him in a polite chat.

Asked if John Wick and Ted Logan (from Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure) would get along: “Yeah, that’d be an interesting conversation. Maybe they could talk about music.”

The only similarity between Reeves and his character John Wick, according to him, is that they “might share a kind of dry sense of humor. Other than that, I can’t really say.”

Keanu was asked: “If you could choose any superhero or villain to play in the Marvel or DC Comics universe, who would it be and why?” Reeves responded, “When I was a kid I always wanted to play Wolverine. So, Wolverine.” Because Hugh Jackman is no longer portraying Wolverine, this looks like an ideal substitute.

It appears that the stunt work on the first Matrix film is what Reeves is most proud of. Both The Matrix and John Wick, according to Reeves’ responses, are very tough when it comes to stunts and combat scenes, but in different approaches, with The Matrix focusing more on kung fu and John Wick focusing more on judo and jujitsu. Reeves isn’t frightened by difficult stunt work in the least. Indeed, action flicks are among his favorites to shoot:

“I love doing action films. I love the training. I love being there as much as I can to create that relationship between the character and the audience.”
