Charlize Theron always looks stunning on the red carpet. The actress proceeded to bring her stylish A-game on the Oscars red carpet, one of Hollywood’s most prestigious events. Theron sported a black Dior Haute Couture gown with a peplum hem, a dangling shoulder strap, and a lengthy train that trailed behind her. The black gown was a traditional style with a seductive detail: a thigh-high split that crept up her left leg. The slit highlighted a pair of strappy black shoes.

Charlize wore minimal jewelry but made a statement with her silver diamond necklace by Tiffany & Co from the Fall 2020 collection. The necklace had a stunning D color Internally Flawless marquise diamond weighing over 21 carats, as well as 165 Tiffany diamonds in total. In addition, she wore Tiffany diamond studs and band rings. Charlize wore her hair in a straight pixie cut with a dramatic side split.

Leslie Fremar, the star’s stylist, offered an up-close look at the stunning diamond Tiffany & Co. necklace she would be wearing before the red carpet.

“How can something be so beautiful? A night like tonight calls for one-of-a-kind natural diamonds — it’s no wonder these precious gems have been synonymous with Hollywood for decades,” Fremar remarked of Theron’s jewelry on Instagram.

“Working with Dior is seamless,” Theron’s stylist, Leslie Fremar, said of the actress’s long-standing relationship with the brand (she has worn liquid gold gowns in J’Adore Dior fragrance advertisements since 2004). The attention to detail displayed by Chiuri “speaks to Charlize’s personal style.” She also makes the marathon of awards season a bit more bearable, given the shows entail sitting in those perfectly boned corsets for upwards of three hours.

Fremar, for her part, has leveraged her client’s present preference for paintbox brights (black and metallics being often the key premise of Theron’s wardrobe) to keep things interesting. “We’ve tried to alter the silhouette, colour and feeling of Charlize’s looks for [each ceremony],” she says. “Changing up fashion on the red carpet is more interesting. It’s fun to try new things.” Mission accomplished.

On the red carpet, Theron posed like a boss, while her mother, Gerda Jacoba Aletta Maritz, stood there by her as Theron’s date.

“I’m always surprised, absolutely. It’s mind-blowing,” Charlize’s mother said of her daughter’s flawless and amazing body of work. Charlize Theron, who is up for Actress in a Leading Role tonight for her outstanding depiction of Megyn Kelly in Bombshell, said, “Aw! I’ve already won!”

It will be her second Academy Award if she wins tonight (she won in 2004 for her portrayal of a real-life serial killer Aileen Wuornos in Monster).
