Hollywood icon Charlize Theron has been in a number of sex scenes on screen throughout her successful playing career. The 41-year-old actress prefers filming steamy sequences with women to males.

Extra TV’s Terri Seymour caught up with the actress in Berlin, where she talked up about that raunchy love scene in her new film ‘Atomic Blonde,’ which has everyone talking!

Working on such sequences with Sofia Boutella was “really easy,” the 41-year-old actress told Terri on Tuesday.

“With Sofia, it was easy just because we’re both dancers and you have to choreograph those scenes quite a bit,” she explained. “Otherwise, they just become silly. There is a technical aspect to it, so with her, it was really easy because she thinks like me because we’re dancers.”

“We shot that scene in, like, 45 minutes and with the guys, they’re not dancers, so, it takes a bit more work. I enjoy both — yes!”

“Doing a love scene with guys is different,” she noted, “but I enjoy both.”

Theron set a goal for herself to get in the greatest physical shape of her life for her role in the action film. In Atomic Blonde, she plays Lorraine, a dangerous assassin who engages in a series of dramatic hand-to-hand fighting situations.

“We always wanted to raise the bar a little,” she explained, “but with the action, we wanted it to still feel that a woman could do all of that stuff — that was important for me as a woman, I wanted it to feel authentic, so no one can say a woman can’t do that. I’m going to be 42 in August, very proud to say, ladies.”

Her physical preparation for the film took a toll on her. “I went through the first two surgeries before we started the film, and then I wrapped the movie and had another two surgeries and I still have one more,” said the Oscar winner, who chipped two teeth during her military training.

While Theron regularly portrays fierce characters on television, she claims that her two children, Jackson, 6, and August, 2, are unaware of her reputation.

“They don’t think I’m cool at all! I was singing in the car the other day and Jackson was like, ‘Mom, can you not sing, please? Stop doing that.’ ” she said.

At the Berlin premiere of the film, the actress turned heads in an ensemble that matched her badass on-screen attitude. In a white cotton triangle bralette with Christian Dior-branded straps and band, as well as white leather Dior mini shorts with a high rise and little boning through the waist, she ruled the red carpet.
