This isn’t the first time Middleton has attempted to debunk the idea of perfectionism.

Kate acknowledged in a frank address about mental health in March that even with the greatest support, parenthood can be a major struggle. “Nothing can really prepare you for the sheer, overwhelming experience of what it means to become a mother,” she said.

“Personally, becoming a mother has been such a rewarding and wonderful experience. However, at times it has also been a huge challenge,” she said.

“Even for me, who has support at home that most mothers do not. Nothing can really prepare you for the sheer, overwhelming experience of what it means to become a mother. It’s full of complex emotions of joy, exhaustion, love, and worry, all mixed together.”

Middleton went on to say: “There is no rule book, no right or wrong; you just have to make it up and do the very best you can to care for your family.

“For many mothers, myself included, this can at times lead to a lack of confidence and feelings of ignorance. Sadly, for some mothers, this experience can be made so much harder due to challenges with our very mental health.”

However, the Duchess was overheard joking that she and William may have additional children at another occasion in Warsaw. According to the Daily Mail, Kate was given a toy intended to calm babies by toy designer Julia Sielicka-Jastrzebska. “We gave the Duchess some presents for Prince George and Princess Charlotte,” Sielicka-Jastrzebska added. “She said they should have more babies, and they laughed.”

The Duke’s wife wore an ivory peplum coat by her favorite designer Alexander McQueen for her arrival in Warsaw on July 17. Princess Charlotte and her fashionable mother, dressed in the Polish flag’s white and red colors as a homage to their host nation.
