Kristen Stewart has stated that Hollywood is “disgustingly sexist” and that celebrity is the “worst thing in the world.”

The 25-year-old tomboy made the remarks while posing in a sequence of lovely, girly outfits for Harpers Bazaar’s high-fashion picture shoot.

“Fame is the worst thing in the world. Especially if it’s pointless. When people say. “I want to be famous” – why? You don’t do anything,” Kristen said in the June 2015 edition of Harper’s Bazaar UK, which also shows her on the cover.

The Twilight actress also believes that in order to be recognized for their work, women must “work a little bit harder.”

“Women inevitably have to work a little bit harder to be heard. Hollywood is disgustingly sexist. It’s crazy. It’s so offensive it’s crazy.”

The celebrity, who generally wears jeans and trainers, was styled by Chanel throughout the 14-page feature, which was shot by Alexi Lubomirski. She also spoke about her weight and health.

“I’m a little bigger than sample size when I’m eating cheeseburgers and am happy and comfortable,” K.Stew said to the fashion magazine about her body. “If I’m stressed or working, the weight falls off. My weight and my sleep are tied to my nervous system. Sometimes I’ll sleep for 12 hours a night and sometimes sleep just doesn’t exist for me for a couple of months.”

The actress claims she has figured out how to live with the spotlight.

“I’ve taken a step back and relinquished a bit of control. Now, I just breeze through, though there are some things I still get very nervous about,” she said.

Following reports she cheated on her boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, she offered a public apology in 2012.

The two filmed some intense love scenes, which rubbed her up the wrong way.

She doesn’t mind sex scenes in movies, as long as they are done for the right reasons.

‘I only hate them when they’re contrived,’ she said. ‘That’s when it’s grotesquely uncomfortable.

‘On Twilight we had to do the most epic sex scene of all time. It had to be transcendent and otherworldly, inhuman, better sex than you can possibly ever imagine.

‘We were like, “How do we live up to that? It was agony. Which sucks, because I wanted it to be so good.”‘
