The Sunday People can reveal that British actor Mark Lester has made a bold promise to have DNA tests done to establish he is the father of Michael Jackson’s three children.

Mark, who rose to fame in the 1968 film ‘The Child Star of Oliver!,’ believes there’s a ‘good possibility’ he’s the father of Prince Michael, 16, Paris, 15, and Blanket, 11 years old.

Lester claims he last saw the three children at Jackson’s memorial service

The longtime friend of Jackson’s claimed to have donated his sperm to the late singer in the mid-1990s, but the two never spoke about it again.

And the father-of-four said yesterday that the resemblance between Jackson’s children and his own family, particularly his daughters Olivia and Harriet, shocked him.

“After Michael asked me to donate sperm for him I completely forgot about it,” Mark told the Sunday People.

“He was a great dad to them, brought them up and was brilliant with the kids so I just didn’t go there but there is obviously a good possibility (that I could be the biological father).

“I wouldn’t have a DNA test without the children’s permission but when the children come of age, and it’s not far away, and they decide they want me to do it then I will. It is up to them.

“I don’t want to tell them what to do.”

‘My 18-year-old daughter Olivia looks like Paris,’ he continued. ‘People have also pointed out similarities between myself when I was younger and Prince Michael.’

Lester, 51, was Jackson’s close buddy and was designated godfather to all of his children. Lester rose to stardom after acting in the 1968 film-musical, and the two met while they were in their teens. They had a friendship that lasted 30 years.

Jackson and Lester remained friends for over 30 years

Lester said of their purported agreement: “I remember Michael ringing and saying, ‘Oh, you don’t have any fertility difficulties do you?’. He was half joking so I joked, ‘Oh, I just look at her and she gets pregnant’.

“So then in a light-hearted way he said, ‘Will you help me out?’. Initially I thought he wanted me to do something with his ex-wife Debbie Rowe and I was thinking, ‘I don’t think so’.

‘Then out of the blue about a year later, he mentioned sperm donation and I agreed. Michael set it up for me to turn up to a clinic in Harley Street to do it. It was weird. I went in a couple of times to donate but we never talked about it ever again.

‘It was a really strange request but while Michael was alive I never gave it another thought. I didn’t donate to get something out of it.’

Lester has not been permitted to visit the children since Jackson’s death in 2009, according to The Mirror. Lester claims that the Jackson family stopped responding his phone calls once he made his allegations public.

Jackson and his family have always disputed that the children were not his.

“I just want to reconnect and be the godfather that Michael made me,” he added. “I just feel it is really cruel that our relationship has just been cut off. It is not what Michael would have wanted.”

Last month, he was invited to Los Angeles by Jackson’s former manager, Dieter Weisner, only to find out that he wouldn’t be able to visit the kids.
