During an outing in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, May 29, Kim Kardashian almost had a big wardrobe malfunction, but luckily, it turned into a lovely Marilyn Monroe moment instead.

The expectant mother walked out in a smart stripped maternity dress with a black jacket, a purse, and flat sandals after intense scrutiny on her fashion choices while pregnant. A blast of wind blew up her short dress, nearly revealing her developing baby bump and maybe much more, à la Marilyn Monroe in “The Seven Year Itch.”

The reality star did an excellent job of concealing her modesty as she strolled across the street, and knowing that camera lenses are usually following her, she made sure there was nothing private for the paparazzi to view.

Kardashian is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West in July, and the gender will be revealed on the Season 8 premiere of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” which will air on June 2, the same day as her star-studded baby shower.

According to a ballerina music box baby shower invitation circulating in Hollywood, Kid Kardashian is a girl.

Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, as well as her mother Kris Jenner, are seen at a doctor’s office waiting for the results of her ultrasound in the premier episode.

Kardashian has begun wearing proper pregnant type gowns rather than tight clothing as she approaches the end of her pregnancy. To accommodate her expanding belly, she wore a blouse-y short white dress on May 28.

The highly monitored reality TV starlet has been chastised for gaining excessive weight during her “painful” pregnancy. She also insisted on wearing heels despite her feet swelling, eventually succumbing to the practicality of flats. Because he’s been working on a new album, West has been singled out for being missing for much of his girlfriend’s pregnancy. “Kim and Kanye are 100% still together and we are waiting for Kim’s baby,” Khloe said last week while doing the media rounds for the new “KUWTK” season.

Despite all of the “criticism she gets,” about her weight, Khloe recently told Celebuzz that her sister is “doing great” Khloe, 28, revealed, “I think she’s now handling it better and she’s just now just trying to block it all out.”

She added, “It was hard for her. She’s great. I think any woman at the end of their pregnancy, I think you’re just like ‘OK, I’m comfortable.’ She’s not exactly there yet but I could sense it’s coming, which is normal.”

“There’s so many of us [in our family] so we’re here to help her and that’s the great part.”

And the soon-to-be third aunt can’t wait to meet the baby. “I am so excited! I can’t wait to see Kim as a mommy,” she told Celebuzz. “I think the anticipation of seeing what the baby looks like . . . I just wanna know what they look like!”
