Throughout Michael Jackson’s career, it became clear that he underwent plastic and cosmetic surgery on his face. The singer’s nose underwent substantial modifications, as did sections of his cheeks. Many reports circulated regarding the star’s aesthetic changes, but he refuted them.

In an interview with Oprah in 1993, Michael stated, “You can count [my surgeries] on two fingers.”

After confessing to having a nose job, he said, “I have never had my cheekbones done, never had my eyes made me, never had my lips.”

The star added: “I try not to look in the mirror. I’m never happy with what I see.”

Marlow Jackson, Tito Jackson, and Jackie Jackson all spoke out in support of their brother’s surgical procedures.

In an interview with The Guardian, the Jacksons were asked if Michael “loved himself enough.”

Marlon said: “Yes, I think so. Of course, no one likes it when the media starts talking negative things about you. “

On if Michael’s cosmetic surgery affected him, Marlon replied: “No, it didn’t upset me because I look at it this way: The Lord put us on this earth to love one another, not to judge each other, and [Michael] wasn’t harming anybody.

“It was his body, and he did what he wanted to do to be what he wanted to look like.”

Marlon continued: “When you get to the gates and the Lord is there, he’s going to judge you not by what you obtained for yourself, or not what you did to yourself, he’s going to judge you by what you did for others. Judge someone by their heart.”

Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, had a very different opinion.

Katherine told BANG Showbiz in 2010: “He had more than two, he was just embarrassed.”

“I hear that people get addicted to plastic surgery and I think that’s what happened to him. I said: ‘That’s enough.’”

Katherine added: “He didn’t want to start ‘looking like a spotted cow,’ he said. I don’t know what in the world he did to change that, but he did.”

Blanket “Bigi” Jackson is all grown up. On Monday, Michael Jackson’s youngest child gave a rare interview to Good Morning Britain on how he and his siblings are carrying on their late father’s legacy 12 years after his death.

The 19-year-old talked to the show while attending his brother Prince’s annual Thriller Night Halloween Party in Los Angeles.

“There’s a lot of really cool stuff here. There’s a lot of history in this house and the studio here. That’s what he was all about,” he said, before referring to his siblings Paris and Prince. “That’s what each of us want to do — make things that people enjoy but also benefit their lives.”

Bigi, real name Prince Michael Jackson II, also discussed climate change in the run-up to the COP26 meeting in Glasgow.

“I do think it’s important that we all know about it,” Bigi remarked of climate change. “And I think we have some work to do, but our generation knows how important it is.”

Bigi’s appearance occurred just a few days after Prince appeared on the same British morning program and discussed his connection with his brothers.

“When we were growing up, my father would say, ‘We could have nothing, but you look around in this room, your brother, your sister, and me, that’s all you’ll ever have,'” Prince said. “That always stuck with my siblings and I, and we have such a close relationship.”

“Because I’m the oldest, my father would always tell me [that] I have to make sure that the group is taken care of and that I have to be the leader and lead by example,” he went on. “But, after his passing, and kind of us being thrown into the ‘real world,’ my siblings, honestly, they picked up the slack that I unfortunately left behind.”

“It’s more [that] we’re all siblings and we’re kind of all on that same level where my sister has her strengths, and my brother has his strengths, and where I’m not as strong in certain areas, they complement me in that way.”

“Any moment I get to spend with my siblings now, especially as we’re getting older and our own lives are starting to kind of blossom and grow, every moment that I get with them — any little family dinner, any family outing — is really a special moment for me.”

Jackson gave birth to Prince through surrogate in 2002. Prince Jackson, 24, and Paris Jackson, 23, were raised by the King of Pop’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe.

Jackson died after a heart attack in 2009. He was fifty years old.
