Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, shared a story about her time on the set of the first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, during an appearance on America’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday (06Mar17).

Watson revealed that she had a habit of mouthing her co-stars’ lines during filming, which caused filming to be halted multiple times.

Director Chris Columbus noticed Watson’s habit and had to stop filming whenever she did it.

Watson explained that she was such a fan of J.K. Rowling’s books and had much of the dialogue memorized, which led to her unconsciously miming her castmates’ lines.

She said, “This is actually quite traumatic for me because I created issues because of this… I would ruin takes. Chris would be like, ‘Cut! Emma, you’re doing it again. You’re mouthing Dan’s lines!'”

Watson shared a clip of her mouthing her co-star Daniel Radcliffe’s lines during a scene read when she was 10 years old which was showed by Kimmel.

Watson, who is now 26, apologized for causing issues on the set and stated that she couldn’t help herself, she said, “I’d be like, ‘Oooh, I’m so sorry, so sorry. Oh, I feel so bad.’ But I couldn’t help myself.”

Watson also added that she was a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and that was the reason behind her actions, she said, “I was such a loser, I really loved those books. I really wanted to do my job well, and I kind of overdid it.”

The Harry Potter series is based on the books written by J.K. Rowling and the first movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was released in 2001. Emma Watson played the character of Hermione Granger, one of the main characters in the series.

Daniel Radcliffe played the role of Harry Potter and Rupert Grint played the role of Ron Weasley.

The series was directed by Chris Columbus, David Yates, Alfonso Cuarón, Mike Newell, and David Heyman produced the series.

The series was a huge success and was loved by both critics and audiences. It was one of the most successful movie series of all time.
