After shooting many takes of a passionate scene with Douglas Booth for the movie Noah, British actress Emma Watson was left with bleeding lips.

Emma plays Russell Crowe’s adopted daughter in Darren Aronofsky’s epic biblical adaptation. Douglas, who plays Noah’s son, and Ila quickly develop a romantic relationship that results in several lovestruck scenes.

The lovers indulge in a passionate embrace in one of the film’s scenes, but things didn’t quite go as planned.

The scene was captured on film many times, leaving Watson with bleeding lips and Booth with a sore nose and swollen mouth.

Watson tells TV show Lorraine, “We had this one scene where we had to run at each other and fit into this perfect passionate kiss. We were fine for the first four and five takes but by the sixth we were just nutting each other. My lip was bleeding, I think I hurt Doug’s nose, we were exhausted. It was just not pretty at all.”

At the European premiere for the film in London’s Leicester Square last night, Douglas admitted that he had no trouble playing Emma’s on-screen lover, following the pair’s friendship of seven years.

“It’s easier because you trust each other, so you’re not nervous, you feel very comfortable.”

When we asked if the 22-year-old if he’d ever had a crush on the Harry Potter beauty, Booth rather coyly revealed he did, gushing: “Didn’t we all?”

Admitting he has a real soft spot for his pal, he added: “She’s wonderful. It’s been strange because I’ve watched her grow up in those movies, everyone feels like they sort of know her, which they really don’t.

“She’s a fantastic girl and if you want to know something about her, she’s so wonderfully kind, so giving. She’s so intelligent and smart. She’s a great great girl.”
