Miley Cyrus is heartbroken after the death of her dog Floyd.

According to an insider, the 21-year-old’s Alaskan Klee Kai pet puppy died when he was close to 4 years old.

She took to Twitter to inform her followers of the terrible news.

On Tuesday, the twerker said on Twitter, “Today is the 2nd worst day of my life.” Cyrus’ Alaskan Klee Kai died abruptly while she was on her Bangerz tour.

“I don’t wanna say it because I don’t want it to be real… But my precious baby Floyd has passed away,” she wrote.

“I know I don’t mean it but I wish he would’ve taken me with him this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? I am miserable,” she added.

The Hannah Montana star went on to say: “She is no longer hurting but I am. That’s what love is.”

The “Adore You” singer will perform in Boston on Wednesday evening, and the Bangerz show is likely to be “very sad.”

During the show, a large blow-up replica of Cyrus’ dog is included, and the insider adds that the doll will remain in the production.

Cyrus paid respect to her late pet by posting two photos of the two of them together. She then cautioned Boston fans that she “may not be herself” when she performs on Wednesday night.

It’s no secret that Cyrus is a dog lover. Floyd joined her family in 2011, and after three years together, his passing has left her heartbroken. In fact, the 21-year-old actress is so heartbroken that she claims she doesn’t know how she would survive without him.

Throughout the day, Cyrus kept her followers updated on how she was feeling, tweeting things like “I am miserable.”

It’s the second time Cyrus has been affected by a dog’s death. Lila, her 2-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, died suddenly in 2012.

“For everyone asking… I have never been so hurt in my life. My heart has never been so broken….. Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away,” she tweeted at the time.

While no pet will ever be able to replace her Alaskan Klee Kai, she still has her other dogs to console her.

Cyrus is still the mother of Ziggy, Happy, and Mary Jane. MTV UK claims that she also assists in the care of her sister’s Yorkie, Penny Lane.
