Cher has opened up about a “scary experience” that she had with an unnamed film producer in the past.

The singer did not provide any details about the incident but took to Twitter to express her thoughts about how women are treated as objects.

She emphasized that women are not “disposable blow up dolls” and are more than just objects for the pleasure of rich men.

“LADIES WE R NOT DISPOSABLE BLOW UP DOLLS,4RICH MENS PLEASURE,” Cher wrote on Twitter. “I HAD SCARY EXPERIENCE W/RICH IMPORTANT FILM PROD.& I WAS CHER!! I WANTED JOB (sic)”

When asked by a fan about the incident, Cher clarified that it was during an interview for a film and that she left before it became too uncomfortable.

“IT WAS INTERVIEW 4FILM. I WAS YOUNG,” she continued.

“I LEFT B4 IT GOT Totally UNCOMFORTABLE!! I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF,BUT SHOULDN’T Have 2 (sic)”

This is not the first time that Cher has spoken out about the objectification of women. In 2013, she said that she would never do anything that she did not want to do.

She was responding to comments made by Sinead O’Connor, who had warned Miley Cyrus about how the music industry would treat her.

In an interview with The Guardian at the time, Cher said: “I was pushing an envelope that I wanted to push.

I felt that looking the way I wanted to look and doing what I wanted to do made me more empowered. #

Sinéad O’Connor has a very different sense of herself than Miley Cyrus, so I don’t think it’s as dire as people are warning.

Women have always been sex objects, and that’s nothing new. They always will be.”

Cher’s recent Twitter posts have sparked a conversation about the treatment of women in the film industry and beyond.

Many people have expressed their support for her and shared their own stories of facing uncomfortable situations in their careers.

Actress Rosanna Arquette commented on Cher’s tweet, saying:

“Thank you for speaking out. We need to protect young actresses and stop the abuse of power. Men must be held accountable.”

Others have pointed out that the objectification of women is not limited to the entertainment industry but is a pervasive problem in society.

One Twitter user wrote: “It’s not just the entertainment industry – this is how men in power treat women in all industries.”

Cher’s message is an important reminder that women deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, and that objectifying them is never acceptable.

It is crucial that we continue to have conversations about these issues and work towards creating a world where women are valued for who they are, not just their bodies.

As Cher herself tweeted: “NO MATTER HOW MEN THINK, WOMEN ARE NOT JUST THERE FOR THEIR PLEASURE.”
