Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are currently on holiday in Australia, Liam’s birthplace.

During a fun beach day in Byron Bay, New South Wales, the pair enjoyed their summer trip in Australia.

The pair swam about in the ocean after reuniting in early 2016 after a two-year breakup.

Miley wore a tiny white two-piece to the beach and hung out with her partner on the sand before heading into the water. The 25-year-old singer wore a black baseball cap when she first arrived, but subsequently switched to yellow sunglasses.

For Miam, it looks like love is in the air. Miley recently paid a special birthday tribute to Liam, calling him her “best friend,” and posting a wonderfully adorable photo booth poster of the two.

At the start of 2018, Cyrus and Hemsworth flew to his home country to spend time with his family, both wearing their “promise rings,” which have fed suspicions that the pair secretly married.

They have not yet walked down the aisle, according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly.

The pair celebrated Hemsworth’s 28th birthday with his family on their trip.

While a source told Us that the couple’s reported laidback nuptials during their trip “would be how they would get married,” the acquaintance adds that if a wedding had taken place, Cyrus “would have told people after.”

While Liam and Miley live in Los Angeles, Chris Hemsworth, Liam’s older brother, lives in Australia with his children and actress wife, Elsa Pataky. Elsa couldn’t stop gushing to ET about having Miley in the family as Chris and Elsa were in New York City to promote their new film, 12 Strong.

“We love it because she’s just so creative. So any moment, on any circumstance, she actually just writes a song, so we love her and having her around is fun,” Elsa said. “[We’ll say], ‘Just sing us something,’ and she does.”

“She’s amazing and my kids love her, and she has an amazing voice,” the mother of three continued.

After a three-year break, Liam and Miley re-engaged this year, prompting Miley to write the song “Malibu.” Despite their repeated statements that they are “no rush to get married,” some stories suggest that the couple may have had a covert wedding in Australia, based on the fact that they were observed wearing rings while out to dine.

Despite wearing their promise rings to show their devotion to one another, Cyrus has stated that he is not ready to walk down the aisle anytime soon.

“I’m 24. I hope I get to live a little bit more. I have too much living to do [before I get married],” she said. “Three years ago, if you’d asked me if I’d be here, this happy with this man, I’d have been stunned. I’m just riding this out. In some relationships, you lose yourself by being with someone else. Actually, it made me find myself more. I have no idea what the next three years will bring, but if it’s possible to get even happier, I’ll take it.”
