Jake Gyllenhaal is said to have “has no interest” in Taylor Swift’s shocking re-released song All Too Well.
Swift released a 10-minute short clip of her song “All Too Well” off her rerecorded “Red” Album on Friday, and the “Nightcrawler” singer was trending over the weekend. Swift fans were certain that the song was about her brief affair with Gyllenhaal, 40, because there were several easter eggs that seemed to allude to the singer and the actor while they were still together.
The lyrics regarding the issue are very scathing: “I’ll get older but your lovers stay my age” and “You said if we had been closer in age maybe it would have been fine / and that made me want to die.”
Swift’s 10-minute clip of the tell-all song, which stars Dylan O’ Brien from Teen Wolf and Sadie Sink from Stranger Things, has received a lot of likes and views from Swift fans. Fans must have been wondering about Gyllenhaal’s reaction to the continuous hype as they listened to the song on repeat. According to an E! News article, the actor appears unconcerned about any of it.
“Jake has no interest in any of it,” says the source. “He doesn’t read gossip or pay any attention to that.”
“He’s living his life and focused on himself. He’s ignoring all of the noise,” the insider added.
Swift’s scarf was also addressed in the song, which she claims she left at his sister’s house. Gyllenhaal was previously pictured wearing a scarf identical to Swift’s. Dionne Warwick, 80, pleaded with the actor to return the item and even offered to pay the shipping.
Jake attended the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards in Los Angeles the day after Red (Taylor’s Version) was released to support his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal, who was being recognized with the Breakthrough Director award for her new film The Lost Daughter. He was seen casually speaking with Maggie, 44, and her husband Peter Sarsgaard in a snapshot taken at the wedding.
Jake was romantically linked to Taylor for three months in 2010. When Red was released in 2012, many fans speculated that several of the album’s songs, including her huge single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” were about the relationship.
