Angelina Jolie was recently chastised for supposedly ‘using the children’ against Brad Pitt in order to obtain better publicity.

The 46-year-old Hollywood actress is presently promoting her latest Marvel feature “Eternals,” and she’s made news for attending the film’s global press tour with her children.

Some of Jolie’s most iconic red carpet costumes have been recycled into ensembles for her adolescent kids. The mother-of-six has talked about parenthood in interviews while avoiding queries about her relationship with artist The Weeknd.

The family was photographed for British Vogue earlier this year, looking picture-perfect in the historic Hollywood house of famed filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, which Jolie purchased for $25 million in 2017.

“Angelina’s using the kids,” a source close to Pitt told the New York Post on Saturday. “It’s hard to understand how this behavior of parading them around is in their best interest.”

“The children are, not surprisingly given Brad and Angelina’s characters, very independent-minded. They don’t do things they don’t want to do,” the insider concluded.

When the actress arrived at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on Oct. 18, she was accompanied by five of her children: Maddox, 20, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13 years old.

An alleged insider who knows Jolie better than the Hollywood actor informed the newspaper that the “Salt” star never compelled her children to attend public events with her.

“The children are, not surprisingly given Brad and Angelina’s characters, very independent-minded. They don’t do things they don’t want to do,” said the second source.

Shiloh, 15, Zahara, 16, Vivienne, 13, Maddox, 20, and Knox, 13, were among the Hollywood actress’s children who attended the dazzling event at the BFI IMAX Waterloo in London on Wednesday.

Pax, her 17-year-old son, was the only one not present.

Her family’s presence on the red carpet was “wonderful,” she remarked.

The famous family appeared to be unified as they hugged together for photos.

Angelina Jolie, 46, wore a black jacket, a collared white top, and a rippling black skirt to the UK premiere.

The Oscar winner’s dress had a pleated accent, and she finished her ensemble with a wristwatch.

Angelina Jolie’s co-star Gemma Chan was also in attendance, looking stunning in a black long-sleeved crop top with silver bejewelled embellishment.

Other notables included co-stars Salma Hayek and Kumail Nanjiani, whose buff look made headlines, who also spent their time in front of the camera.

Ms. Jolie, who plays Thena in the film, recently discussed what drew her to the job in the Marvel Universe.

Eternals is a science fiction film about a race of eternal creatures with extraordinary abilities who have been living on Earth for thousands of years in secret.

“It was really this family I wanted to be a part of,” she told Screen Rant. “When I understood what this film was going to be and who this group was, what this group would represent, and how inclusive and diverse [t was], I felt that’s what it always should have been.”

“It’s what I wanted to be, and to figure out my part in it was secondary; figuring out who I’d be. But I just wanted to be with this family. And I trust this director.”
