A mother’s love is the only love you’ll have ’til the world ends!

Britney Spears shared how she and her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden, celebrated their 16th and 15th birthdays a week ago.

The celebrity shared a photo with the quote “There is nothing stronger than the love between a mother and a son” on Tuesday, Sept. 21.

“My boys’ birthdays were last week … and unfortunately they are growing up and want to do their own things …. I have to ask their permission to post them because they are extremely independent little men,” Spears wrote, explaining why she doesn’t upload photos of her children very often.

Spears went on to write after that. “Anyway we had a small party and the coolest ice cream cakes!! It makes me crazy because they are so tall and geez they are still growing!!! They went to a dance last week and I cried for two days. My babies in a suit !!! It’s crazy !!! And girls get ready [be]cause my boys are so handsome.”

Britney ended her birthday tribute by sharing her thoughts on the quote above and why it meant so much to her.

“I truly believe this quote which is why I wanted to share it … there’s a lot I can’t share with you all because my kids are very private which I love but I will tell you they are both extremely talented and I’m so incredibly blessed to have these two little men in my life ❤️🙏🏼 !!!” she shared. “And if they’re reading this … which I’m pretty sure they’re not … I love you two little devils so much 😈❤️😈 !!!”

The musician’s sweet tribute comes just one day after she reactivated her Instagram account. Britney stated on Sept. 12 that she was taking a “a little break from social media” to celebrate her engagement to longtime lover Sam Asghari.

Kevin Federline, who is also the father of Kori, 19, Kaleb, 17, and Jordan, 10, is the songwriter’s ex-husband. Spears said she wanted more children with her partner, Sam Asghari, at a court hearing in June.

“I want to be able to get married and have a baby,” the dancer said while speaking out about her conservatorship for the first time since 2008. “I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby. I have an IUD inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant. I wanted to take the IUD out so I could start trying to have another baby. But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have children — any more children.”

ET spoke with a source who said she’s been attempting to spend more time with her children.

“Britney loves her boys and misses them every day she doesn’t see them,” a source revealed. “The boys try to visit as much as possible to spend time quality together.”

“Her kids are what she’s most proud of in her life,” the insider continued. “She wants nothing more than to be with them any time she can.”

Jamie Spears, the Crossroads star’s father, filed paperwork to terminate his status as conservator of her estate three months later. Asghari, 27, proposed to Britney after that.
