Britney Spears’ family is deeply concerned that she is treading a similar path to that of late singer Amy Winehouse, who passed away due to alcohol poisoning in 2011 after years of substance abuse.

Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline and her estranged father Jamie Spears expressed their fears in an interview with the Daily Mail, saying that they suspect the “Toxic” singer is on drugs and may die as a result.

Federline, who has two sons with Britney, said he has been praying for someone to make the issue public so that the pop star can wake up from her addiction.

He added that it’s terrifying to think that she may be on meth and that he doesn’t want his boys to lose their mother to drug overdose.

Jamie, who was recently accused of abuse by Britney during his time as her conservator, expressed his concerns over her wellbeing.

He cited her current state compared to when she was doing better years ago and made a reference to Amy Winehouse’s tragic death.

The pop star has yet to respond to the interview.

Britney’s conservatorship, which lasted for 13 years and controlled almost every aspect of her life, ended last year amidst much public attention.

However, Federline and Britney’s children remain worried about her drug use and have even seen drugs being delivered to their mom’s home.

As a result, they are refusing to visit her.

Federline, who receives $40,000 in monthly child support from Britney, said that he dreads receiving phone calls, fearing that there will be devastating news on the other end.

He doesn’t want his sons to witness their mother overdosing and is extremely concerned about Britney’s wellbeing.

Last month, Page Six reported that Britney allowed her kids to move to Hawaii with their dad after Federline threatened to take her to court.

Britney is now married to Sam Asghari, and the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary recently.

Britney’s family is hoping that she will seek help for her drug addiction before it’s too late.

The concern over her wellbeing is high, and they are urging her to get the help she needs before another tragedy strikes.
