According to TMZ, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, were snapped by photographers on the shores of Barbados this week as they flaunted their beach bodies.
All work and no play makes for a pretty bored prince, so it was pleasant to see a well-toned Prince Charles throw down his towel and dive into the surf in Barbados, wearing only a pair of extremely on-trend floral board shorts.
“A source said the pictures were taken during a brief off-duty moment on a major international tour on behalf of the Government, in circumstances where the couple would have a reasonable expectation of privacy during private down time,” the Press Association reports.
Charles and Camilla have been traveling throughout the Caribbean for the past 12 days. On Monday, they attended to some Royal business before heading to the beach in their swimwear for some fun in the sun.
Their tour of the Caribbean, which had previously failed to grab the public imagination, is expected to change all that today, as pundits hurried to cast judgment on his physique.
According to reports, the prince’s solicitor issued a letter to the different news outlets that published the photos, “highlighting his reasonable expectation to privacy.”
Camilla looked stunning in a navy blue one-piece classic swimming suit. She wore her hair down in her regular way and wore heavy shades to protect her eyes from the sun’s rays. The Prince and the Duchess strolled barefoot in the sand besides each other.
Photographs of the royals relaxing and having fun are only occasional treats for royal enthusiasts, but pictures of them in their bathing suits on the beach are as scarce as hen’s teeth. As a result, these photographs are likely to go down in royal photography history alongside images of Charles swimming at Cottesloe Beach in Perth, Australia, in April 1983, and having a bath in Bondi, Australia, in 1984.
So far, Clarence House has been silent on the subject.
According to Express, Prince Charles wasted no time in diving into the water to cool himself. He was spotted frolicking in the ocean and appeared to be having a good time before swimming to land and being offered a beach towel to dry up.
Charles is said to be one of the first individuals to surf in the UK, having learnt the sport in Australia, and five years later he became president of the British Surf Association.
In a few days, the couple will be the first members of the royal family to visit Cuba on official business.
Charles and Camilla will also visit St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, and the Cayman Islands during their vacation.
The palace refused to name the designer of the trunks; nevertheless, the Daily Mirror’s fashion editor quickly claimed to know the answer, claiming they were from the French label Vilebrequin.
Inside royal vacations:
Prince Charles and other members of the royal family often take luxurious and exotic vacations to relax and unwind.
These vacations are a chance for the royal family to escape the pressures and responsibilities of their public lives, and they provide them with an opportunity to enjoy some rest and relaxation.
One of the most popular destinations for royal vacations is the Caribbean island of Mustique. Mustique is a private island that is owned by a group of shareholders, and it is known for its secluded and exclusive beaches and resorts.
The royal family has been visiting Mustique for decades, and it is a favorite destination of Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
In addition to Mustique, the royal family also enjoys vacationing in other exotic locations around the world.
For example, Prince Charles and Camilla have been known to visit places like the Italian island of Sardinia and the Swiss Alps, where they can enjoy outdoor activities like skiing and hiking.
Other members of the royal family also have their own favorite vacation spots.
For example, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have been known to vacation in the French Alps and in the Caribbean island of Mustique.
The couple has also been spotted vacationing in the United States, where they have visited places like California and New York.

As a result, their vacations are often carefully planned and choreographed, and they are designed to strike a balance between relaxation and responsibility.
For example, while on vacation, the royal family often engages in activities that showcase their interests and passions.
Prince Charles, for example, is known for his love of gardening and the outdoors, and he often spends time on his vacations visiting botanical gardens and exploring nature.
In addition to engaging in activities that showcase their interests and passions, the royal family also takes steps to engage with the local community during their vacations.
For example, they may visit schools and hospitals, or they may participate in local cultural events and festivals.
These engagements help to show the royal family’s commitment to the people and the communities that they visit, and they help to maintain the positive image of the monarchy.
But while the royal family takes steps to be mindful of their public image and responsibilities on vacation, they are also entitled to privacy and personal time.
As a result, their vacations are often carefully planned to include private and secluded areas where they can relax and unwind without being disturbed by the public or the media.
In conclusion, the royal family enjoys taking luxurious and exotic vacations, but they are also aware of the need to be mindful of their public image and their responsibilities.
