Mila Kunis holds herself accountable for her failed relationship with Macaulay Culkin.

During an interview on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, the Bad Moms actress, who is now married to That 70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher, discussed her love life.

Kunis dated the Home Alone star for eight years until their relationship ended in a “horrible, horrible breakup,” according to the actress. She was, apparently, the one who was at fault.

On Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast, the mother of two remarked, “I had a horrible, horrible, horrible breakup. I f–ked up.”

“I was an a—— in my 20s and I’ll be the first to admit it. And that’s something that took me a long time to come out and be like, ‘Yeah, you know what, I was a d—,’ and accept it and I own it now,” she added.

Despite the fact that she doesn’t go into detail about how their relationship ended, the “Spy Who Dumped Me” actress confesses that she was to blame.

“It’s f—ed up what I did, and it’s f—ed up how I did it,” she told Shepard. “When I got to be single, I was like, ‘I just need to figure myself out. I genuinely need to know why I did what I did, and like, regroup myself as a human.”

Kunis remained tight-lipped about what caused the breakup, but believes that ‘enough time has gone by’ and that ‘everybody kind of forgave everybody for what went down.’

In July 2015, the actress married Ashton Kutcher. Wyatt Isabelle, 3, and Dimitri Portwood, 19 months, are the couple’s two children.

Despite the fact that they played lover and girlfriend in That 70s Show, Kunis claims there was “no sexual anything” between them while working together. She said that Kutcher used to help her with her homework, but that was all.

Brenda Song, a former Disney Channel actress, is currently dating Culkin. In July 2017, the two were first seen out together, having dinner at Craig’s in Los Angeles. Song stood beside Culkin in a group photo that she shared on Instagram the following month.

While Kunis was candid about her personal life, she also expressed her dislike for tabloid gossip and trolling in the interview.

“Nowadays, you read magazines, and none of it’s … even just fake — it’s just not plausible news,”  she remarked.
