Mila Kunis admitted to giving her husband Aston Kutcher terrible financial advice.

On Thursday, the Bad Moms actress, 37, paid a virtual visit to Stephen Colbert’s Late Show, telling him about how she tried to persuade her husband Ashton Kutcher, 43, not to invest in Uber or Bitcoin over a decade ago.

Mila, who began dating Ashton in 2012 and married him in July 2015, said, “The best part about him is he is really smart about including me in everything and making sure that I am aware of everything that is happening. He is also really smart at knowing that, sometimes, you shouldn’t listen to your wife.”

While she strives to provide a new perspective on consumer goods, particularly those oriented toward women and families, the actress admitted that she isn’t as helpful when it comes to venture capital investments.

“Early in our dating, two things came up. He was like, ‘Hey, there’s this company, it’s kind of like a ride share … kind of like a cab company, but anybody can drive the cab,’” she continued, “I was like, ‘That’s the worst idea ever.’”

According to Kunis, her venture capitalist husband seemed unfazed, and Kutcher even proposed that he order her an Uber so she could test it out.

“He was like: ‘Let me get you this thing. It’s called Uber. Let me just order it for you. You can test this out.’ And I was like: ‘You’re going to put me in a car with a stranger? What is wrong with you?’ Like, I was furious at him,” she told Colbert.

The Bad Moms star then recalled: ‘Second time, he sat me down and was like, “Hey, Babe, I got to explain this thing to you, tell me if I’m crazy”. He’s like, “There’s this thing, it’s like mining for money. It’s called cryptocurrency, and there’s this company”—this is eight-plus years ago—”it’s called Bitcoin.”‘

The former “That 70s Show” performer was hesitant to invest in cryptocurrencies since it was not covered by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

“And I was like, ‘Well, I think this is a horrible idea. And he went, ‘Cool, we’re investing in it.’ So he didn’t listen to me. I mean, this happens all the time.”

“Wait, so you guys went into Bitcoin eight years ago? Damn girl, I can do math,” said an amazed Colbert in response to the story, to which Kunis replied: “Yeah, my husband is really smart.”

Indeed, Ashton was an early investor in Uber, as well as a proponent of Bitcoin from the beginning. So he’s obviously paying attention to the right people, even if that doesn’t necessarily include his spouse.
