Winona Ryder wowed audiences in “Stranger Things” as a frantic mother who risked everything to save her child from another realm, and she delivered another unforgettable performance at the SAG Awards on Sunday night without uttering a word.

Although David Harbour gave one of the most moving acceptance speeches of the evening, it was Winona Ryder who stole the show.

When “Stranger Things” won the prize for outstanding performance in an ensemble in a drama series, she made a series of GIF-able face expressions.

Ryder made a number of gestures in response to Harbour’s passionate speech, including a raised fist and a “deer in the headlights” face, which viewers couldn’t help but notice.

While giving out the Actor statuette to Harbour, Ryder could be heard commenting, “This is heavy.”

“We are united in that we are all human beings and we are all together on this horrible, painful, joyous, exciting, and mysterious ride that is being alive,” Harbour said to a standing ovation. “As we act in the continuing narrative of ‘Stranger Things,’ we 1983 midwesterners will repel bullies. We will shelter freaks and outcasts, those who have no hope. We will get past the lies. We will hunt monsters. And when we are lost amidst the hypocrisy and the casual violence of certain individuals and organizations, we will, as per Chief Jim Hopper, punch some people in the face when they seek to destroy the meek and the disenfranchised and the marginalized. And we will do it all with soul, with heart, and with joy.”

“In light of all that’s going on in the world today it’s difficult to celebrate the already celebrated Stranger Things. Great acting can change the world,” Harbour said on behalf of the cast.

“A call to arms from our fellow craftsmen and women to go deeper and through our heart battle against fear, self-centeredness, exclusivity of our predominantly narcissistic culture. And through our craft, cultivate an empathetic and more understanding society by revealing intimate truths that serve as a forceful reminder to folks that when they feel broken and afraid and tired they are not alone,” he continued.

“We are united in that we are all human beings and we are all together on this horrible painful, joyous exciting and mysterious ride that is being alive.”

Ryder’s utter lack of control over her face quickly went viral.

Some thought Ryder’s face summed up the year thus far perfectly.

“Next time Trump gives a speech, make Winona Ryder stand next to him and translate for all of us through her facial expressions,” the New Yorker’s TV critic Emily Nussbaum said.

Many individuals just wanted a taste of whatever Ryder was on.

Others, on the other hand, wanted to make sure she was okay up there.

On Twitter, actresses Melanie Lynskey and Sarah Hyland praised Ryder, while others marveled at her wide range of emotions.

Later that night, David Harbour, the man who began it all, posted a selfie with the caption “the Winona memes are epic.”

Millie Bobby Brown, Ryder’s costar, was also nominated for best performance by a female actor in a drama series.
