Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s ongoing trial has brought the attention back to Depp’s past relationships, particularly his 14-year relationship with French model and singer Vanessa Paradis.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star met Paradis in 1994 and the two had two children together before their split.

Paradis, who started singing at the age of 8 and has been featured on the covers of nearly 300 magazines, has been credited as an inspiration by several musicians and lyricists, including Serge Gainsborough and Lenny Kravitz.

Paradis stated in her testimony that Depp is a “nice, attentive, kind, and non-violent guy” and father.

According to her, the breakdown of the relationship was due to other factors and not any kind of violence.

When asked about their split, Paradis played coy and declared she didn’t want to discuss Depp in an interview with French Elle.

She said that it was her responsibility to promote her films and albums, and she urged people to think about how it would feel to watch someone profit from one’s suffering.

People are still curious about the relationship between Depp and Paradis and if they are still friends.

While their relationship has ended, Paradis does not believe that Depp is a violent person and instead blames Heard for the breakdown of their family.
