David Justice, a former Major League Baseball star, has gotten weary of being accused of deafening Halle Berry in one ear after reportedly throwing a hay-maker to the side of her face.

Justice, who was married to Halle from 1993 to 1997, said earlier this week that accusations that he cheated on her and was so violent that he caused irreversible hearing loss in her left ear were still bothering him.

‘I just want to thank Halle for finally squashing all of the rumors in the past, that I had physically abused her, causing the hearing loss,’ the baseball star posted on Twitter shortly after.

Berry, who recently filed for divorce from her third husband, Olivier Martinez, has previously said in interviews that a past lover was so vicious that he caused her left ear to go partially deaf.

Justice says that his ex-wife isn’t referring to him in this narrative. The actress now claims this event happened when she was filming The Last Boy Scout in 1991 prior to their marriage.

“Reading the latest Halle Berry reports, it wasn’t me who hit Halle causing the ear damage,” Justice tweeted on Monday. “Halle has never said that I hit her.”

Justice went on a full-fledged tirade, according to People, in tweets that have since been removed. He said that she “She was mad at me leaving the relationship so she and her Hollywood Team just tried to destroy my character. It had to be my fault, right?”

He also made a dig at her dating past, claiming that he and every person after him was a waste of time “Knight in Shining Armor, until it ends. Then we all become the worst guys in history.”

He said, “Only the guys in the relationship with Halle know the real deal. There will be another, of course. He’ll be called ‘The Best’ until it ends.”

“Just wait, Olivier..It’s coming! She insinuated that her daughter wasn’t safe around Gabriel.. look it up and see the reason! Just wrong.smh”

“It just makes me mad to still see the same lie being perpetuated about the source of her abuse being me. Never happened! #formerboyfriend.”

Halle has not made a public statement about the allegations, and it is unclear whether she personally contacted Justice this week.

‘She could’ve squashed them at that time,’ he said in subsequent tweets, explaining why her admission was so significant. ‘I have 3 kids and a wife for 15 years.It was important that my kids knew that their dad didn’t do.’

‘My mom didn’t raise me that way,’ he concluded. ‘Now,I’ll go back into my little small place on this earth and be quiet….Peace!’

When ET met with the former baseball star, he revealed why, after all these years, he felt compelled to come up. “Having three kids, [ages] 15, 13 and 11, the careless reporting of me being the one who caused her hearing loss is unacceptable,” he said. “That was the only purpose of my tweets, really.”

“I just felt that if I didn’t say anything about this particular thing, my kids’ friends might read it and assume that it was true,” he stated. “I’m in the community coaching baseball, football and basketball, and I can’t have that.”
