In an astonishing audio confession obtained by DailyMail.com, Amber Heard admits to ‘hitting’ ex-husband Johnny Depp and pelting him with pots, pans, and vases.

According to reports, the Aquaman actress, 33, confessed to violent outbursts in 2015 and Depp, 56, told her the violence had to stop in a series of taped chats.

Depp’s lawyer, Adam Waldman, confirmed to USA Today that the audio is a genuine 2015 recording.

The duo describe a violent altercation the night before in the tape, which was captured a few months before Heard filed for divorce. Depp accuses her of striking him in the jaw.

‘I’m sorry that I didn’t, uh, uh, hit you across the face in a proper slap, but I was hitting you, it was not punching you. Babe, you’re not punched,’ Heard tells Depp, seeking to downplay her previous night’s rage.

“I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you’re fine, I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you.”

“Don’t tell me what it feels like to be punched!” Depp exclaims, clearly disturbed.

““I know, you’ve been in a lot of fights, been around a long time. I know, I know. Yeah,” Heard cynically responds.

Depp says, “No! When you have a f***ing closed fist.”

“You didn’t get punched. You got hit. I’m sorry I hit you like this but I didn’t punch you. You didn’t get f—ing decked. I f—ing was hitting you,” Heard tells Depp.

Heard, who is a strong champion for women’s rights and has spoken out against domestic abuse, mocks Depp for leaving the late-night brawl, telling him, ‘You are such a baby. Grow the f**k up Johnny.’

“I know, come and save me,” she says. “Travis to the rescue … You go f***ing j**k, go j**k him off. I don’t care. I really could care less.”

Depp mentions the necessity for the pair to separate rooms if an argument “escalates to the point where it’s just insulting for both of us… or if it gets to that physical f***ing sh*t, the violence” at the end of the recording.

Heard states that she cannot guarantee that she will “be perfect. I can’t promise you I won’t get physical again.”

“God, I f—ing — sometimes, I get so mad I lose it. I can f—ing promise you I will do everything to change. I promise you. I’m not going to throw around divorce,” she says.

Last year, Depp filed a defamation action against Heard for $US50 million after she wrote an opinion article in The Washington Post about her experience as a domestic abuse victim.

‘I became a public figure representing domestic abuse, and I felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out,’ she said in the December 2018 piece, which didn’t specifically identify the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

In a slander case filed in the United States, the actor claimed that a month after they married, Heard hurled a vodka bottle at him, shattering the bones in the tip of his right middle finger.

Regardless, Depp said that it implicated him as the abuser, forcing him to lose his treasured job as Captain Jack Sparrow and tarnishing his image.

“Ms Heard purported to write from the perspective of “a public figure representing domestic abuse” and claimed that she “felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out” when she “spoke up against sexual violence,” according to court documents obtained by American entertainment magazine The Blast.

His lawsuit claims he was the victim of an “elaborate hoax” perpetrated by Heard in order to gain favorable attention and improve her career.

It says that ‘Ms. Heard is not a victim of domestic abuse; she is a perpetrator.’

‘She hit, punched and kicked me. She also repeatedly and frequently threw objects into my body and head, including heavy bottles, soda cans, burning candles, television remote controls and paint thinner cans, which severely injured me.’

Heard reacted with a 300-page document detailing the purportedly “horrific” abuse she endured at the hands of Depp, characterizing him as “the monster” who was frequently “delusional and violent” when consuming drugs and alcohol.

Depp’s lawyer Adam Waldman said The Daily Mail, “These tapes containing Amber Heard’s chilling confessions of violence further expose and destroy her abuse hoax.”
