This week’s Venice Film Festival is not only a great location to see new films, but it’s also a great place to start a new(ish) romance! Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky were photographed on the red carpet together for the first time, and we couldn’t be happier.

The Oscar winner wore a transparent polka dot gown from Dior Couture’s Spring 2017 collection today. Lawrence’s style was the bare dress trend meets Disney Princess, putting a modern spin on the classic ball gown.

The breathtaking semi-sheer gown had a plunging neckline and beautiful flower embroidery down the bodice and voluminous skirt, which was finished with black and pink polka-dot tulle. She accessorized with silver jewelry, including Maria Tash earrings, and completed the beautiful look by putting her hair into a chignon, blush coloured cheeks, and a smokey eye and pink lip.

The Academy Award winner escaped a wardrobe malfunction owing to some cleverly placed silk embroidery, but the see-through gown left little to the imagination.

The actor, 26, had an attendant on hand to keep her from stumbling on the red carpet.

Michelle Pfeiffer, who looked equally stunning in a full-length diamond-patterned metallic gown, and Javier Bardem joined the blonde beauty on the red carpet.

Javier looked sharp in his tailored suit.

Tuesday’s outfit was not her only risky photocall in Venice: on Monday, she wore a plunging lace Giambattista Valli gown with a deep V-neckline. She accessorized with Maria Tash earrings, delicate curls, and pink lip gloss.

The Hunger Games actress recently spoke up about her friendship with Darren Aronofsky.

Aronofsky, 48, wrote and directed mother!, starring Jennifer Lawrence. The plot of the film has been kept as confidential as possible in order for viewers to see it as fresh as possible. It received both acclaim and booing from the audience during its Venice debut, much to the director’s joy.
