Jennifer Lawrence was radiant as she walked down the red carpet at the premiere of her new Netflix film Don’t Look Up, with her growing baby belly.

On Sunday, December 5, the actress, 31, posed for red carpet images with co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. The pregnant actress wore a cap-sleeved embroidered Dior gown.

While the 31-year-old pregnant mother has made a few rare public appearances in recent years, this weekend’s event marked her first significant premiere since the June 2019 release of Dark Phoenix.

“I’m excited to be here with the whole cast. I’m so excited for this movie and for people to see it,” the Kentucky native said during the event, before praising her co-stars. “I mean, Meryl Streep is the actual greatest actor that has ever lived, and when you watch her in person, it only confirms that. I think I was more starstruck to be around Ariana Grande. Because our worlds don’t really collide with the musicians, and what she does is so different.”

The Silver Linings Playbook star went on to joke, “I mean, I sound similar, don’t get me wrong — better even. I’m coming out with [an album], you’ll see.”

But, while she lavished praises on her co-stars to Entertainment Tonight, Lawrence remained tight-lipped about her parenthood aspirations. “I don’t know, I’m just going to have to find out”.

The premiere of Don’t Look Up was also attended by the film’s other lead actors, including Meryl Streep and Jonah Hill. Unfortunately, Ariana Grande, who also appears in the film, was not spotted at the premiere. Adam McKay directed the highly anticipated picture, which is planned to be released in theaters as well as on streaming services.

Lawrence and DiCaprio portray a couple of low-level scientists tasked with warning humanity about a comet on a collision path with Earth in the film. And viewers won’t have to wait long to witness how they deliver that crucial message — and how mankind fared.

The film will be released in theaters on December 10 and will be available on Netflix on December 24.
