Jennifer Lawrence refers to her tattoo as “a watered-down rebellion.”

You’re probably not the only one who hasn’t noticed that the Hunger Games star has a tattoo. It’s difficult to notice. The chemical symbol for water, “H2O,” is written in the tiniest amount of ink on the back of her right hand.

She told the story about her new skin-colored tattoo and it’s the most J Law story you’ll ever hear.

She revealed that she opted to get one while on vacation with Liam Hemsworth’s family.

She told HitFix, “I call this tattoo a watered-down rebellion. I was with Liam’s family and everybody was getting tattoos. And I was like, ‘Well I’m always going to need to be hydrated.’ So I guess I should just get H2O on my hand.

Lawrence spoke about her new tattoo in an interview with HitFix at Comic-Con last week, telling the website that her motivations for getting it started were simple.

Unfortunately, the final result has the 2 written incorrectly (it should be lower than the other symbols), rendering it scientifically inaccurate.

Lawrence revealed to HitFix, “I should have googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever.”

The tattoo, it turns out, isn’t all that new, since photos from last year show the Oscar winner had it in July 2014.

Her hand appeared tattoo-free when she attended a Coldplay concert with Liam and Josh Hutcherson on July 1, but she unveiled the little inking during a fashion presentation in Paris on July 8.

Numerous other celebrities have admitted that their body art isn’t quite accurate.

Kym Marsh revealed to the ‘Loose Women’ panel last year that she had a Chinese character tattooed on her arm, thinking it spelled ‘Jack,’ the name of her then-husband, only to discover it said ‘Communist.’

Jessie J has admitted that there is a spelling error in her tattoo despite the fact that it is a design of her own song lyrics.

Other celebrities with problematic tattoos, including Katy Perry’s sanskrit art she got while dating Russell Brand and Cheryl Cole’s massive full-back-and-bum rose tattoo.

J-Law became giddy when she recently met her idol Bill Murray.

Jennifer revealed her affection for the Ghostbusters star during a discussion for her forthcoming film, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, when she finally got the chance to meet him.

‘I’ve been a huge fan of Bill Murray for a really long time,’ she remarked. ‘I’ve kind of spoke to him through Woody [Harrelson, her The Hunger Games co-star].

‘I’ve sent emails to Woody, mostly when I was drunk, with things I wanted to say to Bill Murray,’ she said.

Jen will wrap up her long-running part in Mockingjay: Mockingjay Part 2 on November 20th, with Josh and Liam.

In the fourth and final installment of the blockbuster YA books featuring Katniss Everdeen, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Julianne Moore, and Donald Sutherland will also appear.
