Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd ignited a new round of dating rumors after dining together at a popular celebrity hangout in Santa Monica on Saturday night, then departing together in the singer’s SUV, apparently going back to his Bel Air house.

The stars wore head-to-toe black costumes for their private excursion at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif. The Weeknd, 31, donned an enormous jacket, black jeans, and leather boots, while Jolie, 46, wore her characteristic trench coat and pointed-toe shoes.

The “Maleficent” actor, 46, and the “Blinding Lights” singer, 31, arrived separately at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif. They were photographed leaving together after a couple of hours inside.

This isn’t the first time The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie have been seen together. They were spotted dining together at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi, a high-end restaurant in Santa Monica, in June. A source close to The Weeknd said his dinner meeting with Angelina Jolie was entirely business following their reported dinner date.

After the June 30 meal, a source close to The Weeknd told Page Six, “They’re clearly not trying to hide (the dinner date). He’s definitely focused on getting into the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in.”

The actress reportedly met the singer on a covert date with her children during Mustafa’s private performance in July. The most recent appearances fueled dating speculations and threw fans into a frenzy.

The Eternals star and “Starboy” singer have yet to officially address their relationship, but it’s safe to assume they’ll keep quiet about it. After all, Jolie and The Weeknd are both well-versed in the dangers of dating in the spotlight.

The Weeknd, whose actual name is Abel Tesfaye, is slated to co-write and appear in the upcoming HBO series “The Idol,” which he co-created with Reza Fahim and Sam Levinson of “Euphoria.”

Angelina Jolie’s complex divorce fight with former husband Brad Pitt has fueled the newest dating rumors. Meanwhile, this might be The Weeknd’s first public relationship following the termination of his high-profile engagement with supermodel Gigi Hadid.

Following his relationships with Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid, The Weeknd told GQ in August that he is cautious to date women who aren’t famous because they aren’t used to being in the limelight.

“I do feel guilty,” he explained at the time. “For sure. That’s why I don’t… I try not to do too much. I just try not to bring attention to myself. And I just love being in normal situations, man. It’s such a great feeling. To be able to just like go on a walk and not being in a f–king SUV.”

It was previously rumored that the “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” star was reuniting with ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller prior to her meetings with The Weeknd. In June, she was seen exiting her British ex’s apartment complex in Dumbo.
