Selena Gomez has recently responded to criticism made by Lorde regarding her song “Come and Get It.”

Lorde, who is known for her feminist views, had expressed her disappointment with the song’s lyrics and message.

However, in a recent interview with Flaunt magazine, Gomez hit back at the criticism and defended her song.

Gomez, who proclaimed herself as a woman in July of this year, has been facing some criticism for her lyrics. Some people have deemed them offensive, but the singer remains unscathed.

In the latest issue of Flaunt, Gomez debuts a new bob cut and appears confident and self-assured.

The singer believes that being a woman is about taking responsibility for your actions and standing up for yourself. And that’s exactly what she does in the interview with Flaunt.

In the interview, she addresses the comments made by Lorde, who said of the song, “I’m a feminist and the theme of her song is, ‘When you’re ready come and get it from me.’ I’m sick of women being portrayed this way.”

Lorde later defended her statement to MTV News and received support from other feminists.

However, Gomez believes that Lorde is not supporting other women with her criticism. “That’s not feminism,” she said.

“That’s not supporting other women. That’s my honest opinion, that’s what I would say to her if I saw her.”

She went on to say that she had covered Lorde’s song in all of her shows so far but wasn’t sure if she would continue to do so.

Despite the criticism, Gomez stands by her song and its message.

The lyrics of “Come and Get It” have been described as ripe with feminist fire, but the singer believes that the criticism is misguided.

She feels that Lorde is actually holding women back with her comments.
