Fans are still scouring Chris and Selena’s social media accounts for signs that they’re dating, and while there’s no concrete evidence, some believe the Captain America actor’s latest Instagram Story of a TikTok video is the most solid lead yet.

Evans is seen playing “Purple Rain” on the piano in the video, which he’s been rehearsing and posting about for the previous several weeks. If you look closely enough in the corner of the video, you can see a mysterious brunette filming it. “Whose the brunette filming Chris in the bottom right corner?” wrote the video’s creator. “Is that Selena?” someone asked in the video’s comments.

Other TikTok viewers commented that they “never noticed” that Chris was accompanied by someone in the video, while others stated that the “person” was simply the piano lid. “Its [sic] called the piano lid. You know the thing that covers the keyboard,” one user wrote. However, there were others users convinced that someone was leaning on the piano. Another fan noted that Selena “recently cut her hair,” so if the person was her, so her shorter bob would have been reflected if the individual was her.

Obviously, Selena and Chris haven’t said if she’s in the video, but the fan may be right. The OMITB star unveiled a brunette bob cut, which is in line with the supposed reflection.

The rumors about Chris Evans and Selena Gomez began on social media, mainly on Twitter, when many noted that Evans had lately started following Gomez on Instagram and that he is very cautious about who he follows, only following less than 200 users. That’s revealing. Also, Chris and Selena both departed the same restaurant and building within a few days of one other.
