Kim Kardashian Reveals Her Biggest Regret – You’d never guess what it is

We all have regrets, but we’d think Kim Kardashian, who rocketed to prominence as a result of one of the world’s most iconic sex video scandals, would have more than most.

The reality star revealed her biggest Instagram regret over the weekend.

As part of her KKW Beauty partnership, the reality TV star recently appeared on beauty guru Patrick Starrr’s YouTube channel and stated, “One of my biggest photo regrets is when I got engaged and I had the shortest nails when I showed my picture. It would have looked so much better with long nails.”

Kim’s hand is featured in the black and white photograph, with the gleaming diamond engagement ring clearly visible on her finger. In the background, the grandstands of AT&T Park, the San Francisco baseball stadium where Kanye proposed, loom.

On one hand, this remark is really relatable. Who hasn’t looked back on a college profile photo and wished they’d worn something that didn’t include a poncho? Everyone has regrets. When you consider that photo is documenting what we’ve been taught is “supposed to be” a picture-perfect moment—her engagement—I’m sure hundreds of women have felt the same pressure to have a manicure that fits these expectations. But, on the other hand, how horrible is it to live in a society where even Kim Kardashian believes she doesn’t live up to expectations?

She also mentioned that she doesn’t enjoy long nails and can’t go about her daily routine with them on. But all that counts is that it looks beautiful on Instagram.

We all know that social media is distorting our perspectives and, more often than not, making people feel bad about themselves because they don’t look like the filtered, Facetuned, “perfect” images of people that bombard us. But if the woman who essentially wrote the book on looking good on the internet—Selfies is nothing if not a masterclass in feeling yourself—doesn’t believe her engagement photo is good enough, then the pressure we’re all placing on ourselves is getting out of hand.
