Maisie Williams says she only did Game Of Thrones to get a new laptop
Maisie Williams, who appears in Game of Thrones, has stated that she took on a part in the fantasy series in order to save money for a new laptop.
Maisie was cast as Arya Stark in the program when she was 12 years old, and she is currently in demand as a film and television actor at the age of 19.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Williams discusses her unique road to maturity, but the most endearing part is from her audition for the role that would make her famous.
Maisie explained, “The thing I was really obsessed about was whether I would earn enough money to buy myself a laptop. My step-dad Gary just looked at me and said, ‘I think there’ll be enough for a couple of laptops Maisie’.”
‘Suddenly I could pay for my own dancing lessons and school trips, all those things my mum had always paid for. I was able to help out,’ she stated.
The interview finished off a busy weekend for Maisie, who spent Sunday screening the season 6 opener with some unsuspecting Game of Thrones fans.

In the run-up to the Game Of Thrones premiere tomorrow night, new photographs of Arya have been revealed, which appear to depict her struggling with her blindness.

As a punishment for violating The Faceless Men, the secret guild training her to be an assassin, her character was forced to swallow a toxin that took away her eyesight at the end of the previous season.
Her career is on the rise, and she will act with Jessica Biel and Jason Sudeikis in “The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea,” a film in which she will portray a homeless girl who constructs a raft in an effort to cross the Atlantic Ocean.
She has also appeared as a guest star in the science-fiction programme “Doctor Who” in the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones premieres on Sky Atlantic on April 25 at 2 a.m., with a rerun at 9 p.m.
