A stuntman working on the set of Fast and Furious 9 was seriously injured in a fall. The accident occurred at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.

The stuntman, who has been identified as Joe Watts, is a British stunt performer who has worked on several high-profile movies and TV shows, including Game of Thrones and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

According to sources, Watts fell at least 30 feet while performing a stunt in place of Vin Diesel, who was present on set at the time.

Diesel was reportedly left “choking back tears” after witnessing the accident. Filming was halted immediately and cast and crew were sent home.

Watts was airlifted to Royal London Hospital with serious injuries, including a head injury. Hertfordshire Police are currently investigating the incident.

In a statement, the police said, “It was reported that a man had been injured while working at the location and sustained serious injuries.”

This is not the first time that tragedy has struck on the set of a Fast and Furious movie. In 2002, while filming xXx, Diesel’s stunt double Harry O’Connor was killed while performing a para-sailing stunt.

And in 2013, Paul Walker, one of the stars of the Fast and Furious franchise, died in a car crash while the seventh film in the series was being filmed.

The Fast and Furious franchise is known for its high-octane action scenes and stunts, which often put the cast and crew in dangerous situations.

The first film in the series was released in 2001, and the franchise has since grown to include nine films, with a tenth film set to be released soon.

The films have been a huge success, grossing over $5 billion at the global box office.

Vin Diesel, who has starred in most of the films in the franchise, is one of the most well-known actors associated with the series.

He has become synonymous with the character of Dominic Toretto, a street racer and former criminal who is drawn back into the world of illegal racing and heists.

Diesel has also served as a producer on several of the films in the franchise.
