Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, celebrated her 35th birthday recently and shared photographs from her party on Instagram on Tuesday. While the photographs show Emilia having a good time, it was her shot with her Game of Thrones co-star Iain Glen that took us back to their Essos days.

“Holy birthday balls now THATS what I call a good time. Any fears over the next roll round the sun melted in the haze and glory of this ode to studio 54. THANK YOU for all your beautiful messages and love!! I was floating on an air of good vibes that should last me all year,” Emilia stated in the caption of her birthday post.

Jason Momoa, who played Daenerys’ husband Khal Drogo, felt left out and even apologized for skipping the birthday celebration. “Happy birthday love, sorry I missed it. ❤️❤️❤️,” Jason said on Emilia’s post.

Fans were blown away by Momoa’s remark. “Here I was looking for a wifey comment from this guy! Not disappointed ❤️” Another fan wrote, “Drogo, Jorah and Dany being close irl friends is wholesome.”

“How can you miss your wife’s birthday?” joked another fan.

Momoa last met Clarke at Game of Thrones showrunner David Benioff’s birthday party a few weeks ago, where they celebrated in style.

Despite the fact that Jason Momoa’s character on Game of Thrones died in the first season, fans of the show still see him as one of the reasons for the program’s initial popularity.

The show lasted eight seasons, and the final episode aired in 2019. The HBO series is one of the most popular on the planet. The creators are also planning a spin-off series called House of the Dragon, which will debut next year.

The cast of Game of Thrones is no stranger to the spotlight, but two of the show’s most prominent characters have gone on to one of the world’s few properties that is greater than Thrones: the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kit Harington and Richard Madden recently walked the red carpet for the world premiere of Eternals, the latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
