Brad Pitt denied having an affair with Angelina Jolie while still married to Jennifer Aniston.

When Brad Pitt met Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, he was married to Jennifer Aniston. They fell in love while filming the action comedy, according to many sources.

The public thought Jolie was behind the divorce since Pitt and Aniston’s breakup coincided with the actor shooting Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Last November, Aniston spilled the beans to Vogue magazine about her ex-husband Pitt’s high-profile affair with Angelina Jolie.

“That was really uncool…”

Pitt’s Plan B productions executive, Kristin Hahn, stated in an interview with Vanity Fair that Aniston wasn’t naive. However, the star of “Ad Astra” convinced her that Jolie was not to blame for their five-year marriage’s demise.

“She’s not suggesting she didn’t know there was an enchantment and a friendship. But Brad was saying, ‘This is not about another woman,’” Hahn said.

Brad Pitt married  he married Jennifer Aniston in 2000 , but the couple divorced five years later.

He began dating Angelina Jolie shortly after their breakup. Pitt and Jolie married in 2005, and their first child, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, was born in 2006.

Pitt said that he and Jolie shot Mr. & Mrs. Smith for a year, including during his divorce from Jennifer Aniston.

“Even then, it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t,” he said (via the Hindustan Times).

“I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will. That’s all.”

In a December interview with GQ magazine, Aniston addressed Jolie’s previous comments about her time working with Pitt, stating she couldn’t wait for their children to see Mr. & Mrs. Smith since it’s “where their parents fell in love.”

Jolie’s words were “definitely a confirmation for me of something that wasn’t quite confirmed at the time,” according to Aniston.

Even yet, Aniston remained firm in her prior declaration that their divorce had nothing to do with a third party.

When asked if she believes Pitt didn’t cheat on her with Angelina Jolie, Aniston responded that she prefers to believe her husband. She did say, though, that she wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t entirely honest with her.

Pitt and Jolie married after almost a decade of courtship. They married in 2014, but it was only a two-year partnership.

Jolie also implied that she was the one who brought Pitt and Aniston’s marriage to an end. She told Vogue that she and Pitt waited until the conclusion of filming to chat and determine whether they wanted to move further.

Pitt said he has no animosity against Aniston for her recent candor about their breakup.

Pitt tells W magazine in the February edition, “Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart.”

“I think she got dragged into that one [saying Jolie was “uncool”], and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.”

Despite their brief marriage, Aniston had nothing but kind things to say about her ex-husband. She also described their seven-year relationship as “beautiful.”

“We helped each other through a lot, and I really value that. It was a beautiful, complicated relationship. The sad thing, for me, is the way it’s been reduced to a Hollywood cliché – or maybe it’s just a human cliché. I have a lot of compassion for everyone going through this,” she said.

Aniston confirmed that when they announced their split, their statement was accurate, to the best of her knowledge. She could not disguise her displeasure, however, when she learnt about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s beach photographs with Maddox in Kenya.

Aniston claims she was taken aback when she viewed the images. It occurred soon after they announced their breakup.

Pitt and Aniston have maintained their friendship. There have also been reports that Pitt and Jolie’s relationship has improved.

“We still check in with each other,” he adds. “She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.”
