Jennifer Lopez revealed further information about Ben Affleck’s highly private proposal in her On the JLo newsletter only days after confirming that he had proposed to her again. She stated that Affleck surprised her by proposing when she was enjoying a bubble bath.

According to People, Affleck proposed to the “Marry Me” actress earlier this month.

“Did you ever imagine your biggest dream could come true?” actress said in her Tuesday email.

“Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed,” she wrote. “I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again.”

“I was quite literally speechless and he said, ‘Is that a yes?’ I said ‘YES of course that’s a YES.’”

“I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole. It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined,” she continued. “Just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.”

Lopez and Affleck were engaged in 2002, but split up two years later, and when Ben asked whether she was ready to say yes this time, she said, “‘Of course, that’s a YES.'” The artist also revealed information about the ring. While Affleck reportedly spent $2.5 million on a pink engagement ring the first time around, Lopez claims Ben opted for a sparkler in her favorite hue this time around when he proposed on April 2.

“Green has always been my lucky color and now, for sure, it always will be,” she remarked of her new jewelry, which is thought to be an 8.5 carat genuine green diamond worth an estimated $10 million. She writes, “I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole. It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined… just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.”

Affleck and Lopez put off their September 2003 wedding before divorcing permanently in January 2004. Last April, they reconciled.
