In a recent interview with Vogue, Kim Kardashian discussed her fashion changes and Kanye West’s impact on her style.

But now that he’s gone, Kim is left to wonder what her new fashion phase will be like without the guy who has had such an impact on her style over the previous decade. What’s next for her after her Givenchy, Balmain, and Balenciaga years, all of which were choreographed by the Yeezy man himself?

“I always think, ‘What will be next?'” the 41-year-old Skims creator said in a Vogue interview on Wednesday, February 9. “I always had Kanye, who knew exactly what the next fashion era would be for me.”

Kardashian has previously praised the 44-year-old rapper for “introducing” her to the world of haute fashion and linking her with designers like as Riccardo Tisci and Olivier Routing of Balmain.

“There’s something scary about being out there on your own, but also something so liberating,” the Kardashian sister said regarding her current fashion approach.

According to the creator of Skims, fashion is now all about comfort for her, as she said “Who knows? I might just be in Skims and be so comfy and casual and wear no makeup, and that might be what I feel like representing to the world .” “Maybe it’s just not that serious,” she said afterwards.

Indeed, what we’ll see next from her will be mainly determined by the style lessons she’s picked up along the way from outsider to fashion star, as well as the image she wants to project post-divorce. For the time being, it’s practically all Balenciaga looks, but history has proven that she’ll eventually gravitate to something else.

For those who are unaware, Kanye has always been quite involved with Kimberly’s clothing and fashion statements. Kanye was seen clearing out Kim’s whole wardrobe in a KUWTK episode from season 7, getting rid of everything that was too out there or simply wasn’t appropriate.

Kardashian’s impact in the fashion industry isn’t limited to her own label. In addition, she is the new face of Balenciaga’s Spring collection. Demna, the creative director of the fashion brand, chose the business billionaire to feature in their current campaign.

Because the KKW Beauty creator has been working closely with the label in recent months, it was an obvious option. Aside from a few pieces she’s worn around and about, Kardashian collaborated with Demna on her Met Gala dress, which made headlines. The singer donned a head-to-toe black cotton costume with a baklava for the event, which was themed “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.”
