Kim Kardashian is ushering in a new world. The reality star has seen several changes this year, including the 20th and final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and her split from Kanye West after nearly seven years of marriage.

Kim Kardashian “feels free and is a lot happier” after filing for divorce from Kanye West, according to sources. “It’s a new era for Kim. She has been loving going out with friends, meeting new people and really being out and about again.”

“I think it’s always going to be hard any time, you know, someone… there’s a lot of kids and Kim and Kanye,” Kris Jenner said of her second-eldest daughter’s divorce during an interview on The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Thursday. “The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and we’re supportive and we love each other very, very much. So all I want is for those two kids to be happy, and I want the kids to be happy. That’s the goal.” She added, “I think we all want that for our families, just to be able to have the love and appreciation of one another and just, you know, that everyone’s okay.”

Of course, the KKW Beauty founder still has a lot on her mind, including her four children, various businesses, and law studies, but the source added that “everyone is so happy that she’s finally making more time for herself.”

The reality star was recently seen in Miami with other celebrities at the Goodtime Hotel’s grand opening. “She loved being out in Miami and felt like herself again. Kim has also expressed if the right person came along, she’d be interested in dating again,” the insider shared. “She doesn’t want anything serious anytime soon but she’s been liking connecting with people.”

To Kanye’s chagrin, when asked if the breakup might be depicted on the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the momager teased, “You might. I don’t know what they have decided on in the finale because we haven’t even seen the first show yet. I’m sure they’re putting some final touches, but I think it’s just a private time for them. Kim wanted to deal with this with her own family in her own time, so I think that’s going to be for her to work through and process. When she feels like it, I’m sure she’ll say what she needs to say.”

Her sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner  are delighted that she is in a better mood, according to a source who spoke to E! News. “Her sisters have been joking with her about how much happier she seems. They are all glad she’s in a better place now.”

Kanye West filed for joint physical and legal custody of the couple’s four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, in recent court proceedings. The rapper confirmed in response to the filing that their breakup was “amicable”

According to People, “Kim and Kanye are getting along.” “They have both stayed true to their commitment to make the best situation for the kids.”

The source continues, “Kim is very happy that they have managed to keep things calm. She thinks Kanye is a good dad. She wants him to be able to spend as much time with the kids as he wants.”

In addition, “For every week that goes by since she filed for divorce, Kim seems happier. She knows that filing for divorce was the right decision. The kids are doing as good as she could hope.”

Another source told the publication that Kim felt happy to “no longer be in limbo with Kanye.”

“She’s feeling a lot lighter with that weight off her back,” the source said. “She is not worried anymore and is enjoying her freedom. She is loving being able to do what she wants and make plans for herself. She is doing very well and is happy.”
