Miranda Kerr and her husband Evan Spiegel spoke about how they met in a joint interview.

After exchanging numbers at an event, the Victoria’s Secret model confessed that it was she who had to text the Snapchat founder – with whom she has two-year-old Hart and nine-month-old Myles – first. Miranda also stated that it took her a month after meeting the entrepreneur at a Louis Vuitton event at the Museum of Modern Art before she emailed him to ask whether he had listened to ‘Spiegel am Spiegel,’ a song they discussed during their initial meeting.

The only reason Spiegel, who is said to be worth $5.2 billion, hadn’t contacted Kerr first was because he had no idea she was interested in him.

“I thought I had no chance [with Miranda], so I wasn’t going to waste my time,” Spiegel stated in the Journal interview.

The sitting arrangement for Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel was designed by Delphine Arnault, Louis Vuitton’s senior vice president. The French businesswoman thought that with Kerr by his side, Spiegel would have a better time at the event.

“I thought, She is very beautiful; I’m sure he will have a good time,” Arnault said.

Fastforward, Kerr has previously stated that she enjoys having her spouse around all the time during lockdown.

She said: “Even before this situation, he was up every morning at 5.30am and in his office at 6.30am. Now he’s up at 5.30am and in his office at 6am.

“It’s the same, just without the travel. He’s been like that since the first day I met him six years ago. He’s consistently been up early in the office. He loves what he does. Before COVID-19, he would be home by 6.30pm, maybe sometimes 7pm, then he’d have something to eat, have a shower, go to bed, do it all again the next day. Now, it’s the same, except he’s finished at 6.30pm and he’s actually home.”

Kerr and ex-husband Orlando Bloom, with whom she was married from 2010 until 2013, have a 9-year-old son named Flynn.

Meanwhile, Orlando Bloom is expecting his second child with girlfriend Katy Perry. Jennifer Aniston is said to have been asked to be one of their daughter’s godmothers.

“Katy and Jen are very close. During lockdown they went for socially distanced walks, and spent lots of time catching up,” a source claimed.

“She is pretty chuffed about it as well and cried when they asked her.”
